almost every car has variable timing you retard. thats not what vtec is. vtec is an extra performance cam lobe aside from the other lobes.

The mugen RL concept has a detuned 500 hp (from 600) v8 engine. Now that's what I'm talking about, all motor baby. So don't talk about truck v8's, cause those are very, very different, made for torque and reliability, and simplicity, not performance. I still think a factory x nsx will rape alm ost everything on the highway. But that's just me, and that's on mild boo st running 11.1's (around 18 psi). Some nice hondas and skylines. The in tegra in the beginning at the drag had wheelie bars. helps a lot. I woul d never do that to my turbo gsr though. Those are dedicated drag cars.

I am a v8 man but i have to give props to these cars mostly the skylines, t here nuts how they launch so fast nice vid and compilation by the way

also i love the drag where teh supra races that truck. it waits for the tru ck to go and then books it by and still gets an 8.5 run
