Well, after an unfortunate accident ended my time with my 2004 GTO, I began searching for it's replacement. It took me almost a month to find what I wanted, but it was well worth it! Purchased on 8/1/08, this 2005 Pontiac GTO comes with black leather interior, a 6-speed manual, 6 liters of LS2 fury (producing 400 HP/400 TQ), and a few smaller improvements over the 2004 model year. Aside from the LS2, dual hoodscoops and a true dual exhaust found their way onto the 2005 GTO.
The car was already lightly modified when I purchased it. JBA "shorty" headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, a K&N intake, and a B&M shifter were already installed when I picked it up. The windows were also tinted. Shortly after picking it up, however, I bolted on a set of Roh Furies (18X8) in Black Ice, shod with Yokohama ES100 tires. These are only for street duties, as I have Nitto 555R drag radials for the track. I have also put on a set of Headlight Armor's Foglight Covers in Yellow.
Immediate future mods will likely include Longtube headers, Sweet Thunder mufflers, and an HID headlight conversion. After that, who knows?
