Yo itz been such a ruff day, got up at 8 an havnt stopped working on the truck an running around till now. And the only reason Im on here now it to eat haha Got motor an tranny in, motor bolted down tranny bolted down still have to hook up the drive shaft. As long as we got money truck should be done on Sunday if not then Weds

pretty sure they are manual, we were going to buy a complete kit but they were all out at summit. So we are using the stock ones for now. The only bad thing is the stock mph gauge only goes o 85 haha I want to buy the one that reads up to 200 that would be so bad ass lmao

like i said about the small stuff....gas lines, mount the raditor, radiator hose and just hooking up the wireing and running the exahust. and once we get a timimg light it "should" be streetable. how hard was all ur wireing? I know basicly just plug the "Main" one into the alternator and is that baiscly it?

Finally got the tranny and tourqe converter along with a flywheel so we have everything Im pretty sure. On my dads day off "Weds." we are going to drop the motor and tranny in an hook it up to the drive shaft. then it should be ready for the street if not on Wedsday the prolly Sunday Ill be able to take it around the block hopefully. We still have to do the little stuff, *Thats What Takes The Longest To Do* haha Get any new goodies for ur truck?

Hey thanks for the thought really but my dad said by the time you add in shipping an give you something for the fuel pump It'd just be cheaper just to buy one here but idk he says a stock fuel pump is 10-15 dollars. But really tho thanks for trying to help anyway you can. And good kill on the Evo I bet he got you out the hole being AWD or did he?

ChosensDime wrote:

All we need is a fuel pump an water pump and its ready to make a few passes around the block haha We are prolly gunna go with the 355 because it is brand new never been started after it was torn down an cleaned up also my dad broke off a intake bolt inside the head while he was puttin on the intake on the 402 and that motor is about 2 years old an needs to be rebuilt. If we do put the 355 in my truck my dad is gunna have the 402 bored and stroked out to a 434 or 377 he just wants a stroker motor...Cant blame him lol And whats this I see about you an a EVO?

thanks for the interest and open mind. My saturn compared to others i know is weak sauce. i use a K26 audi/porsche hybrid turbo, cp pistons/crower rods .020 over bore. a JG engine dynamics P&P head with ferra valves and hightemp valves seals and bronzinite guides. and honestly i could keep going and going as the list never ends for i cant stop workin on it. but, best track time on a stock motor and 8psi netted a 13.5@106. given the new motor and more boost 10psi along with more mods. i dont see any reason why i'm not pushing high 12's. just need to find the time to get to the track. but, it should be in the 250-300hp range.

Yo those should be like 75hp over stock aint they? I know they are crazy bolt on hp tho

See the 355 has some Nastey heads on it....They have $1100 in "Work" only and a .590 lift cam which is beastly. But the 400 bored .20 I think its like 402 or 403 kuz .30 over is 406 but yea that motr is a mean torqe motor but you can only take it to about 6200 Saffly where as the 355 is good to like 7300 Both have their ups and downs. Im just happy to have a full blown race engine going in that truck :)

ChosensDime wrote:

Thats cool, My dad still cant make up his mind if he wants to put the 402 or the 355 in my truck lol He better find out quick :P

ChosensDime wrote:

Yea we got one like that but it aint an air gap it just sits really tall lol so are you running a Turbo 400 or 350 tranny?

ChosensDime wrote:

Yea I hope or Imma have a hard time walking around school after I already called them out an they beat me :P But that aint gunna happen. I'd love to see that kid have 550hp to the front wheels and I watch him spin all the way threw 5th, Till he hits about 120 haha

ChosensDime wrote:

We are gunna go with the 400ci for now because its not quite as balls to the walll and my dad said its gunna give me something to learn on so im no jumpen in to , to much hp all at once

ChosensDime wrote:
7/9/2008 12:38:01 AM

Not much, Me and my dad are gunna try and set the motor down in the truck tomarro when we get the motor mounts bolted down. then the truck is almost streetable and ready to take it around the block an burn the old tires off of it lol just gotta get the Tranny off my dads friend and we'll be good. Are you usen stock drive shaft? Thats about it for me how about you?

ChosensDime wrote:
7/7/2008 12:17:44 AM

My dad had a 30th Anni. Camaro Stock ran a 13.9 at 99 an it weighted like 3600 alone so im thinkin mine being gutted maybe down to 2500 or 2600 pounds like close to 400 horse power it should get out of its own way pretty quick. Right now the truck has the stock rearend an drive shaft so i wont beable to do Digs really enless I want to just trash the trucks drivetrain.

ChosensDime wrote:
7/7/2008 12:08:44 AM

Yea for sure, so what do you think your truck runs in the 1/4? Im hopen mine will run low 12s high 11s if i can get it to hook, and yea Ill take ur hand me down bars lol we'll find out the easiest way to ship. there was a senior who did a skyline swap to a 240 that i wanted to run but i think he went off to colledge haha I posted it on my page lol my bad

Im going into 11th and there is a couple honda boys at my school so I basicly want to shut them down. One of my friends last i talked to him a couple days ago is maken a 550WHP Acura Integra all Forged Stuff Rods Pistons an Big Turbo. I can compete with that kinda hp wihout a lil spray haha. Truck is still long way away just got the tranny out today an to bolt up new motor mounts have to tear down everything to get to the bottom of the frame Spindles Brakes sping u name it on the side it has to come off

ChosensDime wrote:
7/6/2008 1:39:03 PM

Yea right now the truck is in no shape to try an race someone thats even if the motor was in it. Tires are dry rotted an shot, Imma gunna buy traction bars sence they are only like 40 dollas aint they? and we are gunna buy a battery reloctor an put it in the back along with a fuel cel but it all takes money lol Im hopen its all done b4 school starts so I can pick on the ricers lmao

ChosensDime wrote:
7/4/2008 11:37:11 AM

Yea I know power to weight ratio is crazy on these trucks. Is yours a Auto or Stick? Everyone I talk to said its next to impossible to hook up S-10s kuz there is bacisly no weight back there besides the bed.
