About Me
My best friend and I jus finished the twin turbo build. At about 6.5 psi the car put down 560 hp 490 ft lbs while violently spinning on the dyno. These numbers are more likely in the 600s without the spin. I bought the car last year and ran nitrous on it till the winter. The car ran well with trap speeds near 118 MPH on a 100 shot. In search of more power and a bit of curiosity made me decide to build our own twin turbo kit. All of this work was done by us, including the welding, wiring, and all fabrication. The exterior mods consisnt of carbon fiber hood, 18 inch AZA staggered rims (black W/chrome lip) and the RKsport body kit. The custom turbo kit consists of 2 garret spec turbos, APEXi AVC-R boost controller, XS power wastegates, HKS blow off valve, Aeromotive fuel pump, Aeromotive FPR, Professional Products Fuel rails, mototron 60lb injectors, spec stage 3+ clutch, TR6 plugs, MSD wires, CX Racing intercooler, glowshift boost gauge, Innovate Standalone wideband + data logger, custom carbon fiber gauge pod, custom turbo manifolds, custom downpipe, and custom exhaust. The fuel lines are done right with -8 an hose and a small fortune in earls fuel fittings. We also had to move the battery to the trunk with a custom painted battery box and kill switch for the strip. All of this work has been done by us.
