I agree with CantonIS, that dodge 2.99 deal is BS, getting a cobalt xfe over a avenger I4 the fuel costs would nearly be the same. And if this fuel cell equinox can lead us to an emissions free future and a very low fuel cost why would I just buy a dodge thats trying to ignore the problem with their guzzlers.

Wow, I wonder if that was Jay Leno's fuel cell Equinox. GM gave him one and is pretty well known for cruising the streets of L.A. in his many cars (it just might be him; I've taken pics of him driving his Citroen, his Ariel Atom, and his early 20's polished aluminum Bentley).

Unfortunately for ChargerRTZ, that was an ignorant comment. If you haven't been reading the news around the net lately, then you would know that Dodge's $2.99 gas is a fraudulent tactic to get buyers to believe they are saving money when in actuality they are not. In essence, owners of vehicles that average 3-4 mpg better than their Dodge competitors are essentially "saving" the same amount (if not more) money that they are offering. Sad really. Dodge simply cannot produce a fuel efficient vehicle.
