What are Kudos?
Kudos are a way for us to recognize you for all the great stuff you contribute on Streetfire.net.
Your Kudos are displayed next to everything you do on Streetfire, including your profile, videos, photos and rides. Your
kudos give others insight into your contribution to the world of Streetfire.
Kudos can also be used to influence how videos
are viewed on the site. Video kudos are influenced by how many people Favorite a video as well as how popular the video is on
the web. The Kudos you earn for each of your videos are added up and contribute to your total Kudos. If you want to earn a lot
of Kudos, uploading great videos and sharing them with your friends is a great way to do it.
Below we have listed the ways you can earn kudos, but keep in mind that the amount of kudos you get for each action may be different, you gotta figure that out for yourself. You didn't expect us to tell you everything did you?

Watch Videos
Just watch a video and we'll give you kudos. You already do that right?
Video Links
We give you Kudos for each link to your video from somewhere outside of StreetFire. So get out there and start sharing your video with everyone and anyone you know! Sharing your videos in your MySpace page, forums, blogs or wherever you hang out is a great place to start. Better yet, if you use the Forum Embed or HTML code provided on our video player page, you'll get kudos for sharing the video as well. Bonus!
Video Favorites
Who doesn't like a bit of recognition for a hard days work. If you post a video that truly rocks, and someone
else agrees, then why not give you credit? It's simply logical, if someone clicks Add to Favorites on one of your videos, you get Kudos,
nuff said.
View Photos
It's just like videos, but for photos.
Comments
Let other people know what you think of their videos, profile, rides and photos by posting comments, but be nice!
Share Videos
You can earn Kudos by sharing photos and videos you find on StreetFire.net, the video doesn't even need
to be yours. It's easy, simply copy the HTML Code or Embed link from the site and paste it into your blog, website or whatever.
When someone clicks that link to view the video, your Kudos will go up.
Login
We love having you around, so each day that you sign in to Streetfire.net you will receive Kudos. This little
number only works once per day and you must make sure you actually sign-in.
Invite Friends
We understand that having your buddies over for a beer in your garage makes life worth living. Just like your
garage, StreetFire is just better with friends around. That's why we encourage you to invite your friends and will provide you with Kudos
when someone acceptes an invitiation you send them. Maybe you can entice them with an ice cold frosty one.
Profiles and Rides
Don't be a fool, if you have a car than create a ride, if you have a life, create a profile, we'll give you kudos for doing both.
Why do I care?
1. Not having Kudos is like putting a No Fear sticker on the back of a Geo Metro, it's just not cool. No snivlers.
2. Your Kudos are displayed next to everything you do on Streetfire, including your videos, photos, rides and profile.
3. Each day we calculate the members with the most Kudos in the past month. If you're on this list, it is highly likely that your stuff will get a heck of a lot more attention.
