Fast car you got there. But lets be realistic here, that's a stripped down track prepped car VS what seems like a regular streetable car with all the comforts. If you want to prove a point set up a race with a stripped down prepped f430 and get a great driver in both cars( the Ferrari's lines weren't that great!, where your's where really aggresive)

Oh and the Z06 is a monster on the Road course as I've been in a couple around limerock and pocono and they truly are astounding. Which is even more amazing that the GT-R is faster around corners!

Wow, you guys are something else! I think the GT-R looks horrid but its performance is no joke. Those of you talking about power, power, power are correct the ZR1 can ultimately make more HP than the GT-R. But as an avid Race fan, HP means very little when on a road course. It's the better built/balance car that wins. Once you start getting really high on hp the car actually becomes slower!

"YouAintSheeit", you must be kidding right? Very little info is out on the v-spec so how can you know that? If the basic GT-R model is faster around a road coarse than a z06, one can infer that the v-spec model will be more than formidable! Either way no one can know as of yet!

That was very nice, thanks. The C6 Z06 is faster in a straight line, the GT-R is faster around a road course. and the coming ZR1 is faster than the basic GT-R in everything!( but cost over 30k more) Now lets see what the v-spec is going to do?

150mph and only the first runs on the new setup! To think it's not even at full power yet. Great job SpecialtyZ. Looking forward to future vids.

I must of not been clear in my previous posts. He was only running around 26 psi at the strip. That's why the mph are 139(oops I just realized I wrote down the mph wrong on the video, now it's changed). If your running 136mph in a 3500lb car you should be at around 570+ rwhp. He dyno'd at 751rwhp @ 30psi while before this race( check out www.specialtyz.com for more info on the car since they did his build/tune). He turned the boost up to 36 psi for this race which is an estimated 800rwhp.Dyno graph link:http://www.specialtyz.com/images/szturbo/dyno...

Well, I guess you need better/bigger tires. He runs ET street radials and is looking at putting on full slicks soon. Here is a video of a previous run http://videos.streetfire.net/video/105-quarter-mil... run is at 26-30psi and the car weighs around 3650 w/driver.

460BIGBLOCK ....the clutch was slipping on the 300zx and you can hear it when he shifted into third. It's actually around 800rwhp(est.) at the boost level he was running(36psi untuned). He dyno'd a few weeks prior 751rwhp @30psi. You can watch the other video where he races the ZX10R to get a better sense of the power.
