Sounds like timing buddy.The intake hose u have is shitty to, sounds like a vac leak as well

That is real impressive for a old 12v. Could have done better on the 1/4 but with a standard deisel, it slows u down alot. Thing was not built for the track as you can see. Looks like a Welder truck that just needs to get to the job fast :P

Ya, u need to run the k8 im with the k8 ecu, the fuel maps and sensors are abit diff on the ZE im. No big deal to swap them over, pretty straightforward man.

I am running headers, 2.5" exhaust and a megan n1 muffler, at the time it was straight pipe, i have since put in a resonator

I doubt it, a KLZE with bolt ones can maybe cut a low 14. He proly has megasquirt or maybe running spray

I find that very hard to beleive as they are only rated at like 200~ hp any ways, you would be lucky to hit 180whp with those mods.
