actually the fastest STOCK down to the eagle tires 03 cobra ran a 12.4 and the gt500 is even faster, but needless to say they are hard to launch on street tires, but the car does have it in it.

So what about the millions that the u.s. auto industry employs.... I suppose nobody wants to see them keep their jobs?? The u.s. still makes a LOT more here than the foreign competitors do, sure they have a few plants elsewhere, but they have to offset the rediculous uaw somehow. How are the profits not going back to Japan i dont understand your reasoning... they clearly are.

hmm ever hear the old saying a leopard can't change it's spots..... Besides I have taken economics classes and it is certainly bad to buy japanese vehicles...... they are the largest purchase a household will make, billions a year are leaving our economy. It is one of the main reasons for the erosion of the middle class... if this continues this country will be rich and poor soon. Also the few plants that they run here usually only employ japanese immigrants that they send over here, make on average under 30,000 a year and send 1/2 of their paycheck over seas. Imo people who buy foreign cars and think they are helping the country are a good example of how patriotism and pride have all but gone down the toilet.
