the focus doesnt have nitrous...not from the factory anyway. the n20 focus comes plummed and ready for nitrous but doesnt have the bottle. ive heard, if u do actually use the system, u void the cars warrenty. also, a slight possibility the focus could have a 2.3 duratec motor rated around 150hp. these cars arent meant to be straight line cars. they are built to handle.

might have made 422whp but made 200wtq. lol. dont get me wrong, i like a nicely done civic, but they make absolute crap for torque. my lil focus makes more torque than hp.

the srt is in a different class than the focus is. so of course, u put the same amount of money into the neon as the focus, its gonna beat it. no doubt. but put the money u saved buyin the focus instead of the srt and see what happens. just put a s/c or turbo on the svtf and it will outdo the srt all day.

ford isnt gonna have a car that will outdo their precious mustang. think about it...a less expensive car that will out-perform their top selling vehicle. focus enthusiats everwhere have been waiting for a high performance focus but ford america will not produce one. now look at ford europe and they have the focus rs, and focus st with the 5 liter turbo motor from volvo. if svt put a turbo on the focus, i think it would have outdone the srt in every category. not only handling(which it does now) but power as well. the mazdaspeed 2.3l is the motor that is in the focus st here, just not boosted. but for 08...ford decided not to offer the 2.3l anymore for the focus.

yeah...whoever was drivin the svtf, doesnt know how to drive. the svtf would hand a neon its ass. ive beat a neon r/t in my lil autotragic focus. lol. but a win is a win i guess........and whoever said the svt was fords answer to the srt is a total dipshit. the srt came out after the svtf did. and slap a turbo on the fofo and see what the outcome is.

yeah u deffinatly need a good tune. 198 and 161 are low for a jr svtf. but u already knew that. lol. ur svt looks good man. and that guy who has the 200whp st has to be in europe. there the st has a turbo 6 cylinder volvo motor in it. ford needs to wake up and BRING THAT CAR OVER TO THE STATES!!!!

hey man...dont listen to the haters. nice kill man. most of these people have prob never riden in a modded focus so they dont know the potential. the st stock is around 145horses. then add a 75 shot and w/e else mods he has and hes well over 200.

it only does 15's? a stock svtf can do that. was he not drivin the car hard or what? i can do that in my automatic focus. im not tryin to bust balls or anything. im just curious as to why its only runnin 15s. traction problems?
