the original motor had rod knock because of a sieze rod bearing. i ended up buying a used motor out of a wrecked supra in oregon with 112k on it. i changed the headgasket using the head of my old motor because it had some work already done to it and it runs like a champ.

it wasn't that early. it was like 5 i had my battery unhooked that day. the motor is a 7mgte by the way. mainly stock, but running good.
