Thats a 1969. Easy way to tell is the squared of wheel wells which I happen to love. The best 69 was the ZL-1 with an all aluminum 427 big block making an underated 430-480 hp depending on what you read. It was the first engine option to be more expensive than the car itself. They made on 69 of them and they get 400,000$ for them at Barret Jackson. The RS and the SS are really sweet too.

600cc bikes are very quick but lack the high speed grunt of a 1000cc. The fact is that from a stand still the bike would shame the vette, however as you can see from a high speed starting point the vette has an advantage with 400lb-ft. and the weight issue being less of a disadvantage. mid range grunt is the weakness of 600c bikes with only 45 lb-ft torque.

I like those coupes. Whats the stock weight ? I was under the impression they were the lightest variation of that kind of mustang, less than the GT and LX hatchback. I'd love to find on in good condition.

That does sound sweet. I like some other engine set ups more like a Big block with a wild cam or even a really highly tuned small block or some of those exotic italians but for something modern and mass produced its a sweet sound and a fine engine design.

nice. It reminds me of my 215ci in my 65 Tempest. I enjoy seeing more about the machining. As a Kawasaki tech we send most machine work out and I wish they would invest in tooling so that work would stay in house and I could expand my skills.

I prefer the 1970 but yours is pretty decent other than the wheels. Unfortuatly rich yuppies are buying up all the muscle cars and driving up prices like crazy.

No your not ! The Countach was my first true love. That car was way ahead of its time and still looks awesome even next to modern stuff. It looks like its a weapon with wheels and a voice of a predetor.
