4th gear sounds dead, because he hit 4th gear right as I put my window up.

I was surprised by it too. We did a Roll Race first... and it wasn't even CLOSE. He claimed he missed third and asked for a dig, I said "Sure... I'll let you murder me." Haha...
...And the rest is History.
And to OrangeBlast... the STi left me at the start because of the shitty 1st gear that the Cobalt SS has (only takes you up to 35mph... 2nd gear power starts at 40mph! lol) and because for some reason, 05+ WRX's and STi's seem to be beasts from 35-45. My friends 06 Cobb Stg 2 WRX ALWAYS jumps out against me in a roll race. Wierd.

That was my first time EVER down a 1/4 track. I bogged it off the line, and had a 2.4 60', IIRC... and the 1/4 time was 14.01 @ 103mph.

The SS had Stg2 with Exhaust... and the SRT was Stg1 with exhaust.

It's a MKIV Engine and Tranny... but a MKIII Rear Diff... which means his gears are much much shorter...
And weight is the enemy of the MKIII!
Once he gets a better tune and more Boost... it'll be a better race. ;)

Don't Brag about beating an SS/SC... brag about beating a Stupid driver with a fast car. My SS/SC has run 8.8sec in the 1/8, and 13.7sec in the 1/4. I've beat teenagers and old men driving Corvette's, Porches, and to top them all a STAGE3 SRT-4!!! IN NO WAY AT ALL DID I BEAT THOSE CARS! I beat the drivers.
