its new! no new tires yet. :) there is not a very good selection of 215/45/r18s, anyway. kinda sucks. i did use the Ebrake and turned of DSC, thats why it didnt die immediately when i smoked the tires. i'm not too worried about the price of tires, this is the only burnout i have and will do, unless i go to the track.

yeah, i f****d it up. my last FWD car didnt have ABS, so i have to re learn how to have fun sliding. hey, i still spun that bitch through second!

if you want to make your own, the only part you can't see is that the bottom of the clear bottle is still on by like an inch of plastic, so it kinda inadvertently helped the flutter. ;)

RS200? NICE! i hope it doesnt have a gaudy wing on it. :D maybe it will be OK. the third one wasnt horribly terrible like the first two... hopefully this one will be OK.

it doesnt sound JUST like a WRX, but occasionally it has a similar burble and growl. just not all the time. i dont really like the HKS stuff, but i have some plans that should unlock a bit of potential. think COBB. :)

its a 2.3 liter direct injected turbo inline 4. very potent. :)i am originally from frederick, but i am stationed in dover, DE.

yeah, i shifted short there a couple times. you kinda have to short shift it. the power drops off at about 5500, and the redline is at 6500, so it is slightly faster, and you stay in the powerband more, if you shift early. not entirely sure why mazda made the redline so high, but i am hoping an intake and exhaust will help the problem. probably just isnt breathing enough at high RPMs to maintain the curve.oh, and it was 25K. ;) GT FTW!!

nah man, its supposed to do that, its a HKS SSQV, it flutters. it sounds weird cuz it is recirculated. ;) no surge at all.
he fixed his mounts, too. solid FTW!

dude, that is awesome! i am hoping to do some stuff like that in my laser this season. i think ill remember to tweak the mixture a bit first, though. i have enough problems with glowing manifolds as it is. :D by the way, what kind of exhaust is on the car in this vid? it sounds really good.

i am pretty sure that a guy just recently got into the 10s on a bone stock z06, except he was on drag radials or slicks. search google for it, i am sure you can find it. the guy did all the tricks, iced the intake, shifted PERFECTLY, all the good stuff. made it to the 10s in a stock z06. now THAT is impressive.
