HandyMan are you living in the year 2008?... Get with it man cars are becoming more advanced than a clutch gas and brake. That car will out shift and out corner you any day. I felt the same way when they put a SMG in my beloved VWR32.... and after racing one and loosing due to the fact that it out performed me... the human error is taken out of the picture in some ways its unfair, but for and in experienced driver it makes the playing field level.

I just have to ask... how many ppl watching this under the age of 35 have the credit+income to afford a Nissan GT-R... by show of hands..? Anyone..? I think all comments should be saved for those who own the cars and not needing to have mom or dad put a dime of money into or there credit online... more appropriate would have been to say congrats Daryl Alison really nice car man.

It is a Mustang you can tell if pause the video and look at the front of the car. The hood scoop is just spy wrap so that it looks like it has a huge engine in the car....and the tail lights are spy wrapped. It is a Mustang all the way roof line and all.

I know most ppl have commented about the girl or hittin it. I want to know how much it cost for driving instruction from him. He is a good coach and I would like to improve my technique and learn some new things. Plus I have a German car too. 04 VW.:32 and I would like to know how to take full advantage of my cars potential. wheeler90@comcast.net please let me know I would like to learn.

They said that this car would fit in this class which is the competition class. I could be wrong about the class but they allow imports and domestics in this class. If any one can find the sponsors please get a car together and race all the Chevy wedges, Ford wedges, Dodge hemi's you want. All you have to do is win to make your point. So there it is if you really want to say that the car is better with a 2jz call NHRA get them to approve the car and motor and give you a list of approved parts that you can use and make me a believer. Other than that I think this guy built a car that can run with some really fast cars. Plus the fastest import in the class he would run in under NHRA Sport Compact series is a 7.031 pass and the fastest mph on a pass was 216.69 . Numbers don't lie do it under the right supervision and lets see what the numbers say. Ohh for those who might have something more to say about a SBC they only allow Ford V8's in the NHRA Sport Compact Series don't ask why but that is all they allow.

To the guy who said he would beat you with his civic.... Dude your civic will never win a race against that car. He all but turned it of and restarted and ran a 12.9. He get that thing to hook up I'm seeing low 9's high 8's. Unless your civic is butt naked and sporting a GEnx-2B then you will not beak him.

dude that thing sounds like the VR6 that VW uses. Still Sounds sweet though. German cars have a really distinctive sound....sounds lick someone blowing by you like you were driving in reverse

The closest I have been to doing what this guy just did was in GT5. And even in game the car doesn't have understeer. When ever you see some one countersteering a car in the wet that is 60(rear)-40(front) that is called oversteer. Still it is a fast car and as soon as I get $80k I am going to get one.

Well to answer your question DiZzy Bonne the cars on the link that you gave have cars that are stripped down to race trim. Plus look at the tranny they are running and the are probally making some serious power at the crank. Not to take away from the cars but they also have professional driver too. The guy in the Mustang in this vid short shifted second gear and he paid for it.
