I'm on my 2nd Dodge and this one now is 5 years old with 100K miles and so far I've had no more problems than vehicles my friends have (many brands - GM, Nissan, Honda, VW, BMW, etc). I will admit I replaced my tranny but I race my car and drive excessively hard AND Dodge made good and replaced it UNDER WARRANTY no questions asked. While You do have somewhat of a point I believe build quality varies depending on the model and trim level. It seems the cheaper cars have more problems. My 2003 SRT-4 seems to be better quality than some other Dodges, and I believe the same is true of other SRT vehicles. Overall, reliability is based on many factors including build quality, but also owner maintenance and upkeep as well as driving habits. I dont see more Chryslers disabled on the road than other cars. And sure, corporate greed results in corners being cut but all of the big 3 are guilty of this. Eventually Chrysler will see the light and get rid of th douchebags or else they will go under. They know that. It's just a matter of whether or not they care. Just my 2 cents. BTW I can type 1000 WPM and have ultra turbo lightning speed internet hahaha lol jk.

Good kill. Of course OHSOCLEAN can't believe it's possible to beat a Cobra so he calls BS like a douche. Nothing wrong with brake boosting anyway even if he were doing it.

That's the real deal! Not very practical but nice! Too bad Dodge waits 'til gas costs $5 per gallon to create this car, and you get what, 12 mpg? And automatic is not that stupid, but automatic as the ONLY tranny available is.

Come on guys, it's a WS-6 with SLICKS vs a most likely stock (or close to stock) SRT-4 on street tires. I would hope the WS-6 would win. But don't knock SRTs. We all know stock vs. stock an SRT4 destroys LT-1 f-bodies and will put up a close race with, say, an LS-1 GTO. Sure, it will lose to an LS-2 but now you are comparing a stock turbo 4 cyl to a 400+ HP V8.

Yeah it's probably a 5-speed if 2nd can wind out to 90. That'd be less likely to happen in a 6-speed since usually when you have more gears they are shorter. In my SRT 3rd winds out to 90, 2nd to 60.

Dam that's nuts. 3000 is auto or manual? If manual how many speeds?

Good vid. What gear was the SRT in at 60? he really got pulled.

Amen to that, Average Joe. That Challenger SRT-8 is awesome, evn with it's "cheap & inferior" 6.1L hemi and leather/suede seats lol. I heard they will run mid 12s and top out at 180 MPH, stock, with the 6-speed, and that's N/A, not supercharged like the new Cobra/Shelby GT-500, which is also a beast of a car.

Uggh. If they make this car they really should make it RWD or AWD, not FWD (and I drive a SRT-4). Really, a FWD roadster? Also, the front end could be better. Someone at Dodge needs to realize that every car they make doesn't have to have the signature Dodge "crosshair". So fix the front end design and make it RWD and it will be a decent roadster to compete with the Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky, and Mazda Miata. Of course, an SRT version should be made too, to compete with the turbo Slostice/Sky, 350Z, and Honda S-2000.

I agree, turn off the g a y music. Also, CSRT-4s are not running low-mid 13s. Any reviews I've read about CSRT-4s usually say how previous SRT-4s are a little quicker, despite the 55 more HP and 10 ft lb of torque. They have tested in numerous mags at 14.4-14.6 in the 1/4 mile whereas '03-'05 SRTs were running 13.8-14.2. CSRTs are heavier and not as aerodynamic. That is a pretty quick 'balt btw.

Good run. What year is your VR4 and which engine? Even with the TT V6 I doubt you can run low 13s stock, nor can the SRT. What Mods do both cars have?turbomr2: What was the last year toyota mad a turbo mr2? 1995? More like "turDo Mid-engine Ricer 2-slow". New MR2s have what? 140 HP and 0-60 in the high 7s? A Neon SXT will probably beat that car so stfu already. Toyota isn't making any high performance cars now!

(Reality) Whoa, slow down there man. I appreciate ya stickin' up for me and all, but if you read my previous posts you would have seen me mention the other SRT cars, and the fact that the new EVO X is slower than EVO 8's and 9s. Also I'm sure i talked about the fact that the SRT-4 is the slowest car in the SRT lineup and the EVO is the fastest mitsu, and mitsu doesn't make any muscle cars. And yes, it is the bigger turbo and AWD in the EVO that makes it quicker than a SRT-4. But the SRT needs a turbo to be fast as well, and I won't say the EVO is a bad car. As for arguing with EVO9MRyoendri, I get my jollies from making idiots look like an a$$.

Yeah, now all of the sudden you don't have time 'cause I made ya look like an a$$. So are you busy taking those English lessons or is McDonalds makin' you work a lot of overtime?
