Ah. Spank you very much. To all who don't really know shLt about professional motorsports. Corvettes are and always have been bred for roadracing. Yes with corners. Even the Z06 will handle the GTR (also bad azs) on the race track.

All I can say is put a turbo on any of those V8's and its all over for everyone else.

I'm no super fan, but just wait till production. The z28 will be cool, but I bet the ss will be awesome. Someone said it right. It's a funny car: hence the name "funny looking". It does look mean as hell though.

Hey So called outlaw star. Don't trust your speedo. It's lying to you. And my bike is not just something I picked up the other day. Has lots of work. Oh and I do drive cars too. 331 stroked single turbo 92 mustang. I'm not saying your precious ricer won't do 160. Just saying it didn't appear to be moving that fast in the vid.

I run up to 170 every week. That car didn't get to 160. If his speedo was telling him he was it is wrong. I have a speedo healer on mine and been dyno tuned so I know. OH and first gear is useless in a highway run, even before I re geared mine. I also ride an 05 zx10. This guy can't ride for s$!#.

Hey dadbob7b I'm at the tack every thurs night here in Dallas. Two fox mustangs running some fast ass bikes this last week and hanging no prob. They were running 6 flats in the eighth mile. Even a few big block trucks running with the bikes. One truck went 5.98. This is a bad ass car, but just saying it does happen.

And I hate it when You Jap car lovers try justifying these smaller motors with turbos and how bad A@$ they are. Add turbos to American V8's (very easy by the way and less than $6000 in most cases) And its definitely all over!

This car looks nothing like the production skyline. If only America had a race series that would allow american cars to be so totally altered and tweaked as these in the Jap league. Corvettes and vipers and mustangs would really be detroying the jap cars. Oh and to whoever said it. You Don't have to use the ZR1: the Z06 gets the job done against the Skyline very easily.

Say what YOU will. The Z06 is made for the track as well. If the two could face off in some sort of cup races where they don't restrict the power of the faster car the z06 will win. That's it. You must own a c5 zo6. The c6 is a totally different car. Even if they raced with jap cup rules: tweak the z06 the way they do the jap cars with aero and power upgrades, it would still be the vette that wins. If you think the c6 z06 doesn't have aero, brakes, and handeling your nuts. I like the skyline alot, but these jap cars get so hyped up, then everyone tries to justify it when they see the results of a loss. Corvettes own the racetrack. Ever watch much professional racing?

i Think ota24mvt sums it all up pretty well. They're both bad a@$. For the dollar they are very hard to beat. One just happens to be faster than the other.

I think the GTR is an awesome car and once the tuner market gets ahold of it it will be sick. But credit has to be given to the new Z06. It is an amazing car. With all the carbon fiber it weighs less than 3000 lbs. What does the GTR weigh 3800 3900? Then add more power and what did you think the outcome of this race would be??? Z06 duh. And if you think the Z06 wasn't built for the race track you're nuts. The Z06 is so overwhelming that LeMans requires chevy to use the basic C6 vette as the platform for the C6R race car. I don't think the GTR can hang on the race track either, but hey thats just me thinking with the laws of physics in mind!

OK. If you want to get technical everything in a motor bolts on. Get over it. He could bolt on a different blower if he wanted to. KenneBelle with a tune makes over 700 horse with a bone stock block all day. Or he could bolt on an intake and an HP turbo for an easy 1000 hp w/ a stock block. Saying it has full bolt ons is the posters way of saying the stang is almost maxed out on hp when thats not even close to the truth.

There is something very wrong with that 93 cobra. April issue of Mustang & Fast Fords has a project 5.0 motor. Bone stock 5.0 bottom end motor w/ 200,000 miles on it with trick flow heads and holley intake and associated induction goodies made 675 hp at 10psi with a 67mm HP turbo. This guy has a 70mm and only 475 whp. He needs a refund.

Very nice Vid and Fox. I have a 92 Gt myself. Putting together a 331 w/ dart heads and a HP 67mm turbo setup. Little 75 shot just in case. Looks like I shouldn't have a problem on the highway.

yeah no stock bike does anything over 200. Dumb Ars. I do work at Southwest superbikes in Dallas. They build Busa's with well over 250 N/A HP and hit like 217 at bonneville salt flats. My zx10 is geared down and kills the rev limiter at 170 (on dyno and street). And by the way stock for stock the zx14 has been radared faster than the Busa. At an illegal 194. Check sportrider.com they have the test data.

Hey CBR all it takes are aluminum heads, fiberglass hood and some skinnies up front to take care of the front/rear weight issue. By the way I ride a 05 zx-10 w/ lots of work.
