"Awesome vid! Who's Astral Projection remix is this?" Thanks drz! Not sure who remixed the song. I streamed it off "Tags Trance", so one of the DJ's on there must have tweaked it.

oh ok, I thought you were comparing a 1300+ HP Viper with a 1000+ HP Supra. The Supra is a fast car no doubt when built, but I think both cars at 1000HP would be a better race. The Supra is a very heavy car... so even though it appears smaller, it still weighs about the same as a Viper.

"id like to c it run a 1000hp + supra".......... And why in the world would you make such a stupid statement? ....nevermind. I just looked at your profile. That explains it.

You should shift around 5,400K with a NA motor Viper. I shift mine at about 5,200K. The dyno sheet will tell you the optimal RPM to shift at. The car will still rev to and past 6K, but power rolls off around 5,500. Everyone hits 4th in a Viper at the top of the 1/4.

hp400 - Vipers are running 7 second 1/4 miles and breaking world records left and right with that "truck motor". Do you know anything about Viper motors? Do you understand how silly you just made yourself sound? The worlds fastest 6 speed is a Viper. Do some research before posting dumbness....

400981 - The older Gen I "RT/10's" and the Gen II "GTS" were not that far apart... you're only talking about a 25HP power difference. RT/10's were rated at mid/high 12's in the 1/4 mile and the GTS was rated at mid/low 12's in the 1/4. Some GTS's were hitting high 11's bone stock with a good driver. 11:80 I believe is the record for a bone stock GTS. I ran a 12.1 in mine when it was practically stock and it's a 94' RT/10. See my videos...

STOCK Rear tires are 335 (width)..... some folks go with 345 with aftermarket. A typical stock Mustang has about a 245 on the rear so Vipers have about 100+millimeters more width. It's called "meat" for all you newbies out there.

I'm a Viper owner and you can see some of my stuff in my videos. The Viper GTS you raced is pretty much the best model produced, even for today's standards. Everyone Wants a GTS because it's the perfect race Viper. A VERY good driver can get some 11:80's with a bone stock GTS, however, it's more common with "MOST" GTS owners (running K&N's / Exhaust) to run mid/low 12's in the 1.4. Like I said, high 11's is NOT uncommon for an experienced driver. Looks like the EVO would be running low 12's and possibly high 11's with that setup. Very nice indeed. -FROG-

Thanks for the cool compliments folks. Yea, we spent alot of time filming this. Well... it really only took a weekend, but if you notice, the video is in fast forward, with the lips still matching the music at normal speed, so alot of work was involved. Fun stuff!
