You can tell that it looks like a new GT-R from the butt with all the coverings?

You guys do know factory numbers are crank and sometimes the companies cheat to gain a few horsepower. When you stick that engine onto a powertrain and add the restrictive intake and exhaust your horsepower to the wheels dramatically drops. This goes for any kind of car made by any company in any nation. For example Lamborghini performs crank dynos to all the engines put in the cars they sell and also get their factory numbers from those dynos.

@getatschmidtIts called crank vs rw horsepower. Top Gear did the dumbest thing i've ever seen in my life when they dynoed a GT-500 and complained that it didn't get the same amount of power to the wheels as it does to the crank. Maybe they should go dyno those European cars they love so much and see how they make in power when it comes to crank vs to the wheels. It was just another way for Top Gear to bash American cars...... Again..

You guys are pretty funny you know? Its funny to be talking crap about an engine that with a few bolt-ons, pulley swaps, tune and exhaust and you have an entirely new beast.

There were 3 or so Ford GTs there that day that did 199, 202 and 150(stock).

@GSR1
It takes the Bugatti Veyron 24.2 seconds to get to 200 mph.
http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?sect... Heffner Ford GT 1000TT did it in 18.9 seconds
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/hot_l... ure+page-6.html
With a total 0-200-0 time of 26.5 seconds makes it the quickest road legal car from 0-200-0 on the planet.

@CocaineGunz
Its the Texas Mile not a 1/4 mile. Also did you watch the second pass?

Final Results:
Ford GT: 222.24 mph
This makes it the fastest Ford GT on record. They plan on adding chutes to the cars for next year to see what they are really capable of. On a little side note the Ford GT-40 MK IV went 220+ mph on LeMans back in the late 60's.

@Standard_Issue
Its not much of a failure seeing as its the best selling crossover and gets good-great reviews. Saying this car is a failure would be a failure in judgment so good job failing.

dude don't come here with the my car has 16 cyl and a quad turbo BS. We all know its not about the amount of cyl the amount of turbos. Its the displacement, bore x stroke, and the size of the turbos. This car world make in the upwards of Joe's GT TT if it used 100+ octane.
on 100 octane this car would produce 1000+ rwhp. Its using a 5.4l and larger displacement has more potential of making more power. This car does make 900 rwhp if you don't believe me to bad.
are you retarded or something do you know nothing about the Ford GT-40?
it is 900 rwhp turn up your volume... what do you guys need to believe its 900 rwhp?
this car has a stage 1 turbo kit the stage 2 that joe's Ford GT will be getting soon has bigger turbos and a better fuel injection system that will allow 1500+ bhp.

The car is badass if you want to see more of the car there are more vids of his Ford GT on this site and some of Joe's Ford GT also.
