Actually, that little engine in the Galant is a four cylinder, not a six.

The Camaro has a new tranny on the way and should be back on the road within the next week or two, and the Galant is freshly tuned and ready for a re-match! There is no, and never was, any engine damage. As Boostin said, the smoke was just tranny fluid burning up on the exhaust.
