Thanks guys...the quality, well...I just don't know why they look like they do here, they are dark but not blurry on my PC, then when uploaded here they get a hazy quality to them.... Also, don't bash the Mustang, he was trying he just was having problems...right after the launch it would start busting up really bad, hopefully he will get it right soon.

I guess it's just personal taste, but I just liked hearing the sounds that come along with the burnouts.

Yeah, it's an 1/8 mile track. It was a fun day, and for a good cause. They wouldn't let people race against the patrol cars for liability reasons, but it was cool that they showed the times so you could run against their times at least.

Yeah man! I have thought about deleting that post because I don't want people to think of me that way. I'm really laid back, and all the cars that were subtitled were guys from our forum. It was just some fun, and wasn't mean toward anyone...It was actually a pretty good day, and I think all the guys enjoyed it pretty well, so I was happy with it. I might have gone off a little too hard on dude down there, but man do I hate these "My car is better than yours" types. The kind that really DO put down everything that isn't their style, and I saw him as one of those. I'm just here to have fun, and I hope everyone enjoys the video. I will say again, none of these cars deserve anything but respect...they were all fast, and all very nice rides.

I will let you in on a secret...saying a very fast ls1 car is a V6 is not trash talking. Here is another, all of the comments are nonsensical...as in it could not be real, that was what made it funny, to me and a few friends(in the video). Ever seen the video of the "Mustang GT-R with a turbo Rotary with pistons and valves"? These are the kind of folks I was poking fun at. So far you have said "POS, Junk, and they Crawl down the track". That is trash talking...the kind you get out of 15yr old kids posting here. Look at my other two videos from this day, and you will see you are the only one who is being a jerk about it. As a matter of fact, I outran one "91 pony" in my conquest that day. These 3 vids were made for myself and my friends who are in it. If you don't like it just go somewhere else, because you have no Idea what you are talking about. Did I offend you? No! So why do you come here offending me? I would think that if any of the guys had any problems with it they would tell me like a human being, and I, being a a good natured person, would go back and edit any part they thought was stepping on their toes. So far everyone has enjoyed it but you, so I'm sorry you didn't like it, but it wasn't made for you, and I'm sure you can find plenty of "Chevy sucks" or "Mustangs suck" videos here chock full of the kind of immature flaming you apparently like to do, and you can jump right in there with the rest of the kiddies. Guys like you like to suck all the fun out of this sport...It's just like the people who bash on anything Japanese. There are well built japanese cars that are very fast, and there is lots of crap. Just like there are well built mustangs (The orange and blue ones in my Video) and then there are the trailerpark ferraris that 80% of mustang drivers own. Everyone has their own taste and style, and that is what makes the entire car culture so much fun, but it seems no matter where you go there is always one hater trying to act high and mighty, or tell everyone he's so much faster and their car is crap, or just generally hating on anything not his. This is unhealthy and actually scares a lot of people away from the sport, be it drag racing, road racing, auto x, or even just car shows. If you don't like it, don't build yours that way. You don't like my video, don't watch it, but you don't have to come in here and hate on what I or anyone else has done. From what I see you joined Streetfire just to comment on this. Put your own videos out, and I'm sure you will find many more just like you wanting to stir up trouble.

Whoa there precious...I put my runs and the girlfriends runs in a video of their own. As far as the comments before the runs, those are meant to be funny. I met up with most of these guys because we had discussed the event on the forum. The Orange Mustang took 2nd in the car show as well, and has a pretty nice supercharged setup. For the record I am not "Dogging" anyone, it was all in good fun. There is no reason for an asshat with no videos of his own "91 pony" to come here and call my cars "Junk". The Quest and 240 are pretty much stock, and ran 9.70's and 10.70's respectively, and the Trans Am runs 8.60's on Motor, has plenty of "Not Motor" power, and only 112k miles (Pretty low mileage for a 12 yr. old car). I'm not going to stoop to your level and start flaming. Come on guys...this is supposed to be a site where automotive enthusiasts can meet and share experiences...why is there always some clown being an ass? Want to be a douche, go to youtube, we don't want you here.

This is a track in North Alabama. As for me, well...I have a few toys. At the moment we have a '96 Trans Am, an '87 Chrysler Conquest TSI, a '90 240sx(The Gal's Car), 2 non running projects(79 T/A turbo and '65 Mercury Comet) as well as a '96 Ford Ranger(The Beater)

If the "?" was to me I will clarify. I love coming to streetfire, I have a Trans Am, and old Starion Turbo, a 240SX and a Ford Ranger. Thing is, people never seem to want to talk about the car in the vid, they want to argue about "Well, my Mustang with 40k dollars in mods would beat it" or if it's a 550H.P. Evo it will be someone saying "That's stupid 'ole rice, I tell ye whut" and it makes me sick. There once was a time when we could keep our brand partialities, but also give credit to someone for what they have done. It's time we start being passionate about cars again instead of hating them (Them meaning everything except what we drive). I am all for a LITTLE bashing on the "Put a fart can and alumanum wing on mommies accord and now it's a race car" guys, but I just don't understand all the arguing. Can't we just talk about the ZR1, what will likely be THE FASTEST production car you can buy in the states? And for the Viper guys, the old Z06 has already beaten the Viper, and there is still no need to throw in the Lingenfelter/Venom(?) arguments. Just seems this place would be nicer if we could just talk about what we see, and actually try to socialize and learn something.

Streetfire has turned into "Hatefire"...always some a$$hat throwing his 2 pennies in where they aren't wanted...that being said, This thing is going to be a MONSTER!! If you don't get it yet, look at what happened with the S/C Cobras (Yes, I am 100% anti-Ford =P) they started at ~390 H.P. and with a pulley and tune most were making over 500H.P. on the street. God, I can't wait to see one and curse the owner for having it instead of me (The way to properly hate).

How about this...we stop with the "Street race or show off to a friend" as a catch all, and we add all the things that cause accidents every day. When a racing crash does happen, it gets big coverage and everyone takes notice...what about all the accidents that are caused everyday by daddy's little girl in the Excursion running a red light while applying makeup and talking on a cell phone.
I say we add: *THINK**PAY ATTENTION*
*Get off the friggin cell phone
*Stop yelling at the kids in the back seat, stop and take care of it
*Stop screwing with the radio
*Stop applying your makeup
*and finally, Stop looking for a scapegoat, and look at the 90yr. old lady cutting across 4 lanes of interstate at 40mph in the Crown Vic!

The newest mk IV Supra is 10 years old now, so you guys can bench race and throw brand new specs around all you want. When I first bought my LT1 Trans Am it was stock as a rock and I pulled 2 stock-ish MK IV's. Supra's have mad potential, but not every Supra is a 9-second drag car, and stock to stock, 2 cars in the same condition and LT-1 and especially an LS-1 F-body will generally be a little faster.
