It boosts low because it still has to spool a turbo. It has nothing to do with pulley size or weight. The supercharged boost hits instantly, and the turbo boost hits a moment after. I actually really like that and might consider that for my car.

Well, technically my car doesn't have any SS badges. I took them all off. All it has is a Chevy emblem on the front grill.

It for some reason is being retarded and totally ignoring the O2 sensor, so its idling at 12.4-12.9 afr. Once I get the crap with the O2 sensor figured out and get it idling at 14.7, it will sound insane!

Good to see a car running a number with comparable speed. Not like those stupid supras running ~8.7 @ 170 mph. 170 mph with good traction is good for low 8's high 7's!!!

I don't know man. Hitting boost while accelerating up to the speed limit kills mileage. I used to cruise up to the speed limit from a stock without touching boost. Also with my 2.6" pulley, if I floored it at 2000 rpm, I would get 15 lbs of boost by the time my foot hit the floor. Still thats a nice turbo set up on that sky. Very liveable.

The head porting started yesterday. Already did the full radius +1mm valve job, and started opening the ports. The head porting is all thats left to do. All other parts are already here, this motors gonna have $1500 worth of valvetrain!!!

It may only be a 4 banger, but that little short block can withstand 800+ hp!

I would, but this is a 2.0L, and its been a year and a half in the making. I think I've spent more than enough time and money on THIS one, let alone ANOTHER one. lol
