Mine did that when the pull system went out. It would pull harder half throttle and run smoother then when you stuck the beans to it it would fall on its face.

Your talking a bone stock car, Can a modified anything beat that vette?? Yes it can but even then probably not that badly. I'm sorry your just not going to take a stock Nissan, yes even the skyline, Honda or most European cars and take that on. Am I saying no stock car will beat it.
