not if you choose the right turbo kit..I personally think the 60-1 is to big for a 2.0 liter on a stock motor why not get spool faster by going with a smaller turbo. If you only gain 100 hp on a stock motor safely go with the turbo that only adds 100 HP...Superchargers require to much power to make power on a small motor like this. In the end you can only gain 100 whp so why waste horspower with trying to spin a rotor on a supercharger to get that 100 HP....Turbo are more efficient they use lost power normally to create more air flow.

Its all about the volume of air.........PSI is a side effect of trying to push so much air into the motor. If you can push the same CFM from two smaller turbos you save the lag and you dont have to push 90 psi

I think its all BS this is your actual facts I want to see someone say they hit 200 db's
"The current loudest car has been recorded at 178.9 dB. For comparison:
* 200dB -- Rocket engine at 30 m; blue whale humming at 1 m * 163dB -- Windows break * 150dB -- Jet engine at 30 m * 130dB -- Threshold of pain; train horn at 10 m * 120dB -- Rock concert
The perceived loudness doubles with every 10dB increase, so 178.9 dB is about 50 times as loud as a rock concert (nearly 26 = 64), and nearly 8 times as loud as a jet engine."

The previous record was from pioneer and it had 9 12's and " The truck holds 36 amplifiers, 72 16-volt Turbo Start batteries and three Ohio Generator 285-amp alternators and produces 115,200 watts of power."
So your buddy must have some crazy power to have beaten the world record with 4 15's

if you were only 2000 lbs and the cobra was 4000 lbs you still would be 200 HP less.

One of the fastest cars ever around a slalom is a miata built by racing beat. Weight has the major hand in what a car can handle and not handle.

Any car can be made to be fast looks its a fwd neon.....
"The whole story is that the Lightweight has a power-to-weight ratio of 6.7 lb/hp, pulls over 1.0g on our skidpad, splits our slalom at an impressive 74.9 mph and stops from 60 mph in 109 feet. By the numbers, this is hands down the most impressive front-drive car we've ever tested. And it's American."
Shutup and go home if you want to argue if you have facts bring it.

actually toyota was founded by engineers who took our cars and reverse engineered them. They didnt even come up with their own idea but they def. mastered it with the kaizen blitz methods and kahn-ban......six sigma.

Carl Benz created the first internal combustion engine. The French made the first car to move under its own power.

the size of the turbo doesnt matter compared to what the static compression ratio was thats your problem with blowing the motor.

Think about your motor staying in full boost the whole run as compared to letting out to shift. Auto turbo cars are quicker.

you dont need a BOV for autos which make them fast keeps the turbo at full spool thats why all the real fast cars have autos...

This is a sad day that people that could never own a vehicle like this feel the need to degrade it when its faster than anything they will ever own STOCK.
