I think it's YOU who sucks here... No offence, but taking 700 - 1000+ hp from 2.6L engine is quite impressive. And as all who have some knowledge of these cars, knows that they're not even breaking apart when the engine is built up to those hp readings. Take a good look around the web about Skyline GT-R's before posting a crap like that. And yes; I do own V8 myself and I'm not into ricers, but at least I have the courage to admit some truths...

12at : I believe that they're swapping engines to RX-7's but originally the question was about production RX-7's as far as I can remember, am I right ? There's no 3rd gen RX-7's which are ORIGINALLY n/a... That's what I ment . :) Don't really know is the car in the vid with swapped n/a-engine or no t, but I've never claimed that it can't be... ;) I didn't say that.
And yes; I admit that both cars in the vid were fast. No matter if it's RX-7 or Mustang. And I admit that 3rd gen RX-7 (twin turbo) IS fast car. I'd gl adly drive a car like that. :) Or Mustang, whatever... ;)

Vertiay : How can you classify Mazdaspeed as an factory car since it's obviously n ot one? Ummm... If I'd use same way of thinking I'd say that also Nismo 40 0R is an factory car for example. Nismo is owned and operated by Nissan as you know (or do you?). But how many of you other guys classify it as an f actory car? Not too many I guess... And Nismo 400R is NOT officially an fa ctory car. Neither is Mazdaspeed.

12at : you didn't say that 3rd gen RX-7's all came out twin turboed, BUT yo u said that that RX-7 in the vid was N/A, which is pretty much the same th ing, because all 3rd gen RX-7's really came out twin turboed... (Believe m e; I've now spent almost 3 days for reading information about 3rd gen RX-7 's... So; if there's no N/A 3rd gen RX-7, why are you claiming so? Is it r eally so hard to admit that even when the RX-7 in the vid was twin turbo, it lost? C'mon... be a MAN and face the fact... ;) There's nothing to sham e in admitting that.

Here's a copy/paste-thing from one of the site s I visited :
"The third and final generation of the RX-7, FD (wit h FD3S for the JDM and JM1FD for the USA VIN), was an outright, no-comprom ise sports car by Japanese standards. It featured an aerodynamic, futurist ic-looking body design (a testament to its near 11-year lifespan). The 13B -REW was the first-ever mass-produced sequential twin-turbocharger system to export from Japan, boosting power to 255 hp (190 kW) in 1993 and finall y 280 ps (276 hp, 208 kW, the Japanese manufacturers' gentlemen's agreemen t on engine power) by the time production ended in Japan in 2002."

- END OF STORY & ARGUE -

D**n right, Nibbie! Props to the winner! No matter if it's Mazda, Ford, GM, Nissan or what ever. Race is raced and if you lose - you just... lose and that's it. There's no excuses.

Yep... It's a 1.3 liter, all right. But it's not any secret that despite th eir size, rotary engines has possibility to make tons of more power than n ormal inline and v-engines or any normal piston-engine. So why are you com paring the engine size? Rotary engine is totally different thing than norm al inline or v-engine and there's no sense to compare a liter-size. It's q uite much a same thing than comparing a tuned and non-tuned car. Both mayb e fast, but they're whole lot of different cars though. It's a rotary vs. normal piston-engine. NOT a piston-engine vs. piston-engine. If you put 1. 3 liter normal piston-engine vs. 5.0 piston-engine... you'll know what's t he result. Am I right, huh?

...and you're bulls**tting for good...
