I am a friend of the tC owner, and the camera-man for these videos. They were some random people who came over and challenged my friend in the tC. and this tC is bone stock, other than K&N intake FILTER with a ram air and an axle-back muffler.

Pretty dang good race! both cars were almost even. looked like the type-s was better on the launching from high-er RPM's than the GTI as expected with Honda power kicking in at over 6/7k lol... The GTI is a sick car though. always loved VW's gauge cluster.

Haha, conviently last night we ran a Type-S RSX! i just posted the video, like i said up until around 80 the tC spanks, but this time we got up to 4th gear before he passed us! ahahah, see you haters! a tC can own a type-S! ahahahahahaa...

The BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT tires are $138 each and the Falken rt-615s are $127 each, and thats for the "plus zero" size, wider tires, 225s instead of 215s... don't have em for the 215's on DiscountTireDirect.com.... idk, do those BFGs give good cornering traction too? because the RT-615s have great all-around traction...
Because i guess people think that just because the xA and the xB are ridiculous that they just naturaly think it sucks, and some people look at specs and numbers too much to realize that it matters WHEN the power is.... Hondas have a lot of power, but they have to wait for it, the tC's power is almost instant...

Yay finally someone who says that it can really do what i say! everyone else just goes, "not even, the type-s spanks the tC..." i guess it takes a true tC owner to recognize the sweetness of it... but yeah, my friend that owns the tC is a pretty dang good driver... even with bald tires all the way around he can do omega-launches... once he gets some money in the bank, he guna get some Falken Azenis RT-615s=omega traction! lol....

and just the other day i learned that the dude with the 302 Mustang apparently "bought" a new supercharger kit for his Mustang. idk if he was lying to sound cool ot not, but if he really did buy it, then i will repost a video of the same tC taking him on.

i didn't know that VVT-I is always on... (obviously) idk i just assume since his power-band on the tC is at 3k rpms that thats when VVT-I kicks in... my bad...
and no, i wasn't being sarcastic. My friend in this tC has spanked a type-s with a decent driver, both of them had a horrible launch spinning em through first though, but the tC was pulling on the type-s until about third, but it was all over by then..... i know i was a little cocky when i said that stuff before and whatnot, but i mean i just get kinda mad at all these people hating on the tC, saying it's slow and stupid, when i'm sitting here posting videos showing a tC blowing away a 302 mustang, a eclipse GSX, and my most-recent vid showing a race against a B18 TURBO civic...
but yeah the tC still has an K&N and muffler, but this muffler was hand-built by my brother, who designed it specifically to improve the bottom-end of the tC, and apparently it works ridiculously good lol....

it is actually NOT lame, and NOT slow, BUT IT IS chealy constructed. haha. its got clips in it to hold things together instead of actuall bolts, and has a styrafoam bumper under the cheap plastic. lol... but it's still a sick car, if u don't even think theyre somewhat cool, then there's something wrong with you

apparently you are not very bright. The TRD supercharger at like stock psi gives the tC around 200hp... plus adding the VVT-i kicking in at only 3k rpms, the VTEC kick in at what? like high 6k, 7k?... the type-s and cvic SI have 197hp stock and they have no bottom-end. Besides, this tC has beaten an type-s before like it is now! the TRD supercharged tC would get owned by an SRT-4 yeah. but thats because it's got frigen like 250hp...

and yes that was supposed to be an insult, because why would u spend all that money buying a fwd chevy? you could have bought something waaay faster with that same money. and something that is respectable as a tuner. not a friken chevy...
and apparently i dont have any "internet buddies" because everyone seems to not like that fact that whatever you say about the tC, it still beat these cars.
And who cares about your 5.Slow? this tC has beaten them before...
but at least you own an AE86... I've got one too. Only difference is mine got rear-ended, haha...

Nah, the mustang lives around the corner, my friend with the tC lives a little longer away. i just bought a new camera- SONY DCR-SR-42. thats what i record with now. I used to record with my mom's gay-ass old camcorder, that recorded with tapes, so i played em back and filmed with digital camera.

Update: my friend is going to re-post the video i think, with the pictures of the engine in the mustang. im sure its NOT a BOSS 302 now, but its still a 302. and then you can see the new ish, plugs & wires, etc.
Update Part 2: This video was filmed when the tC had a straight pipe, which gave it considerably no bottom end. Just yesterday, we have installed the insane bottom end-giving muffler back on it.
Update Part 3: Why must all you people think that it is the mustang that is slow? It's just THIS tC that is blazing fast! i swear that this ONE tC is like a freak, they tuned it perfect or something. This tC will DESTROY anything in the same class, and even things in higher classes. including RSX type-S', civics, integ GSR's and we even speculate that he could take out an s2000.
