Exactly why the average guy can not buy a new ZR1 even if he has the $$$$ Must have some sort of hi-po driving skills.

Just so you know, the new cobalt turbo makes 250 at the frt wheels and 270 tq and 3000 lbs vs. the new Must Gt's that weigh 3600 lbs and make about the same 250 or so hp at the wheels stock and you're modded with full bolt-ons and a few other things I can't recall, but you'd need 330 whp to run even with this new balt SS. Simple drop in air filter upgrade and muffler and I picked up two lbs of boost and wheel hp is now 275. You've a C'vert and an automatic which ='s a slow combo. Buy a coupe, learn to drive a stick >>(for real drivers) then I'll race ya.

Those newer GT mustangs are not that impressive, and this GT is modded rather mildly. My new 2009 Cobalt SS Turbo would be this car.

If you stretch the chasis enough you don't need the wheelie bar. Such is the case here. This bike is nothing but a go straight machine.

Not very impressed. 0-100 klm (0-62 mph) in 5.5 sec and 0-220 klm (114 mph) in 17 sec!! not as quick as I thought these new C63 AMG'S are.

No way that Dumbkids 412 whp is going to beat a stock 475-480 whp C6 Z06 that is also (C6 Z0) a slightly lighter car.

Anytime you add hp to any car it has a higher fuel requirement , which means mpg's drop.

The black vette that stayed ahead was the Z0, the only car to beat the camera car. Speaking of camera car, it was a stock\with bolt-ons LS3 2008 C6. That's right, with a hand full of bolt-ons you have a C6 Z06 equalizer. Start with 436 hp, mix equal parts headers (25 hp), Cai (12-14 hp) full exhaust (15) and a tune (12-14hp) boil for ten minutes and you have a LS3 with 497-505 hp and 485 tq, which is more tq then a stock Z06 by nearly 15 lbs\ft., then throw a nice mild cam in the mix for another 35 bhp and now you're at 535-545 bhp then you slap a procharger>>> supercharger on top of this and you have 670 bhp, ZR1 beating numbers in a lighter car.

You'd need lots of bolt ons to run with that Z06, A cam, is not a bolt-on FYI and you'd need a cam for sure.

plus, it would not be out accelerating so many low 4 sec 0-60 cars. The Lotus Elise is the base model, is has a 189 hp 1.8 toyota motor. the Exige, Exige SC and Exige S has a 218hp and a 220hp superchargd 1.8 toyota motor. The Exige 240 S is the fastest model with a 240 hp supercharged motor. my bad. The supercharger on these cars is more quiet than the "SQ series" of superchargers from vortech. They did a turbo awhile back but was not a good mate to the 1.8 engine. Also, this car is out-accelerating too many other cars in the Straights that will eat this thing for lunch if it was N\A/ This car is Assisted, and by more than 170 hp, probably 225hp or better to be realistic

I can hear the turbo intake and bov. the turbos on these cars are not very noticable. My neighbor has a new 09' Cobalt turbo SS and you can not hear the turbo on this car at all. This car would not keep up that well ON THE STRAIGHT-AWAYS if it was N\A

You show no times, and if you do get some one that actually knows how to use a camera. None of you times are making sence!! you can't run 112-116 mph and only 13.2-14.2 sec. Maybe 106mph. when you're ready to be honest the re-post.

Just a bigger, heavier GT500. It won't be any quicker wither. Big waste of FORDS $$$ There are so many different mustangs on the road and none of them are worth the $$ or perform a hair better than a stock mustang GT. My new toy ( 2008.5 Cobalt turbo SS) out runs my 2007 330hp Must GT Bullit on a quarter mi track all day. In terms of handling, the only ford that can handle close to the SS stock was the Ford GT supercar or a re-sprung GT500, and I still get 25 mpg in the city.

A video with no sound, and crappy quality! Pls. If these cars are even near those power levels AT THE CRANK, THEN LETS SEE THEM RUN AT A 1\4 mile TRACK!!!! Nuff said. till then this is BS on both cars.

Hate to say it but stock new GT-R's do dyno between 420 and 435 whp. No there's no GT-Rs putting down anything near even 455 whp stock, that would be a good dream. This car is maybe in the range of 600 bhp but not wheel hp.

Yes ttgoth1 a Z06, stock, will take the GTR..... Weight to power ratio, aerodynamics, gearing. The GTR is good for 0-60 mph with it's AWD but after that it'll get roasted by the Z0.
