Dayum! It seems like almost all of the 4 cylinder AND rotary cars in PR have Lenco transmissions. FAST!

First of all, I like Corvettes (I've owned 3) - I don't know about this "Twin Turbo"? Corvette. It should be a very unfair race. I do know any year Katana 600 is a lower horsepower GSXR engine design from the mid 1980's. Katanas are truly one of the slowest 600cc bikes sold in the last two decades. 100 hp measured at the crank would be pushing it for a good running Katana 600. They are good bikes but not for racing of any sorts. A 2004 model w/ expert rider 1/4 mile tested w/ a 12.3 sec. @ 108mph (altitude corrected

LOL, stay off "the track?" I don't think I could drink enough beer to attend one of these.

And some people think I am crazy... My best comment towards this video is: Better him than me! He's probably one of only a few that actually made it all the way to the top?

I guess a beater car might come in handy sometimes but then again, so would a pickup if you own a bike.

Also -- 1bf6f9b0, you don't think the launch was that hard? Don't forget this 3,400 lb. car is on drag radials. You aren't going to get a 1.20 60 ft. time with this setup! ;-)

Great pass, MM! Even IF you did cut a slow light (it wasn't slow), I guess 596463 wouldn't understand the extra fun it is when you let someone intentionally get a good head start, just to blow past them while in time-trials. What a sweet car!

Nice running car! Don't forget after you get it dialed in and on a good hooking 1/4 mile track, please share some more vids. You will definitely need a parachute! 8-) I a$$ume you have a good roll cage already? Thanks for sharing.

I will always prefer the sound of a hard hittin' V-8 but, twist my arm. I'd drive an 11 second electric pickup... on occasion. ;-)

The other sad thing besides anyone dying is the fact that NONE of the cars shown in this video is actually a "fast car." If ya DO street race, don't be selfish. Choose a safe place where it's unlikely for anyone to get hurt if someone DOES lose control. Don't do it on a freakin' street where people are lined up on the curb or in the street. We weren't even that stupid when I was a kid.

Some of you guys crack me up. Trust me, there are MANY women that can out drive most of the people that post the snide comments about female drivers and beyond... There are many more male high performance drivers than female for obvious reasons but that doesn't mean lots of females aren't at least as good, if not better than a chunk of male drivers. You should be HAPPY that there ARE female drivers that enjoy the sport just as much as we do unless you are jealous or something?.....

Massachusetts in the winter? Crazy, with a funny outcome as long as the injuries were minor. ;-)

An automatic transmission in THIS car cracks me up! N/A V-10 with an A/T? Hmmm... Before anyone goes talking about a Veyron having an auto trans, the Veyron is 1001 horsepower, a bit less than TWICE as much this car is 'supposed' to have (approximately) when eventually produced. -- Sure it's easier said than done but it's safe to say the driver on this day won't set any track records for low E.T. -- The car ought to be pretty nice once they figure out what they're going to produce. You know they don't want it to be an "also-ran". -- Not for everyone but to me, not offering a M/T removes a lot of the "enthusiast fun factor". I like the GTR but again, same deal except A/T's are quicker in H.O. turbo cars like the GTR. They should still offer both. Each type would sell, regardless.

stevefordfreak, I am white and was born in America. I'm saying you are a complete numbskull no matter where you were born the way you post some of the most stupid remarks on streetfire. I see them OFTEN from you. I hope streetfire removes your completely uncalled for comment and looks into ALL of your posts. We are here for a common reason, cars - We aren't on this site to bash people for where they live. I hope you will consider that. It's time to grow up.
