I would have enjoyed this far more without having to hear all the clutch kicks every damn time the escort started going again. He does not even blip the throttle on downshifts for god sake. He can have fun with changing that clutch soon.Other than that, it is a great video.

trick98stang... It does not matter how balanced an engine is or how perfectly it is made, it needs to warm up before doing anything harsh with it. You don't take a racing engine, start it up dead cold and go all out with it before it warms up much less your average engine. You are going to end up frying something. Things expand when they get hot, if you have pistons that fit in the cylinders very well with tight tolerances and you take it out and bash it while cold, that aluminum piston is going to expand far faster than the steel cylinder and guess what, you are screwed.Oil works far better when warm as well, flows better too. Especially when you have some 50 weight in it.

My mom has had a school bus sideways on an icy mountain road. This was sideways for quite a while, empty bus but still scared the sh** out of the people that had to pull off the road as far as they could (before going off into the 20ft drop) to make way. I wish I had video of that.
