um ford only added superchargers to the svt lightning and cobra because their engines couldnt make hardly enough power with them so how did chevy copy their idea? has every other manufacturer that ever put a supercharger on one of their cars copied ford too? besides, gm was supercharging the grand prixs and regals, etc before the first svt supercharged vehicle ever came out. ford doesnt have a compact car to compete with the supercharged cobalt, so i guess chevy has more innovation in this case. and chevy has since then moved on to turbocharging the cobalt. so chevy and dodge both have turbo compacts and ford yet again is being left behind. i dont even want to think how far behind the japanese ford is...

2 wheel drive makes for a cleaner getaway? thats why the 2 wheel drive ferrari left the line roasting the rear tires right? give me a break. too bad the gallardo driver cant drive with awd, he should have launched and been ahead of the ferrari right from the start

oh my bad your cylinders are in an inline configuration, thats probably why its sooooo fast. haha ok im sure your exhaust took 6 tenths of a second off your 0-60, anyways, dont be sour because you drive a discontinued grandmas suv with just an inline 6. it was never close to 50 grand either, escalades are around that. and 21 grand is still overpriced because the oldsmobiles shortly before they were discontinued have the worst time holding their value. LQ9's are far superior motors, you dont see people go holy crap you have a 4.2 liter inline six?!?! some of the fastest trucks and suvs around are built with 6 liter lq4's and lq9's. peace

i know, not enough grandmas and old people were buying them so they discontinued them. and 2004 escalades do go that fast, the power of the LQ9's more than made up for the extra weight that they had over bravadas, trailblazers, ascenders, all the same thing...and dont act like your bravada is SO fast because its not. go drive something other than an overpriced suv with V6 and you will see

i find it hard to believe you payed 50 grand for that considering they based at 35 for the awd model in the last year they made them in 2004 so you had 15 grand in options?. if you really did pay that much you could have gotten an escalade and gone even faster. grandmas drive oldsmobiles thats why they discontinued them.

yea 2v aftermarket plenums are hard to spot. and this car wouldnt idle like that if he had just taken a sawzall to the exhaust. with the stock airbox and tube its a sleeper, looks like just another 2v gt. nice work, its hard to get numbers approaching 400 out of those cars

ya and for twice the price of the ferrari i would expect the carrera it to be a little faster with less weight too.

um the integra has proven to be a high 14 sec car if its a gsr with mods or a type r, you know, the ones with vtec? and even a stock type r can barel y run a high 14. an rs is just a non vtec little b18, high 15s maybe with mods. all 5th gen ludes are vtec h22s and pretty fast even with autostick s, so im assuming he is just a horrible driver

hey Banned, you have got to be the stupidest person ever. the viper ram is an excercise in excess. dodge didnt make it with road courses in mind, or to be as fast as a lambo or ferrari in the quarter, they made it to be the fastest stock truck, which it is. its made for people who like trucks and have money to throw at the gas tank. by the way, motor trend tested one t hrough the quarter in 13.3 seconds and it holds the world record top speed for a factory truck at 154 miles per hour, a speed that most cars on the road today cannot reach. and yes, miles per hour, because we are in americ a, and if you dont like us americans and our country, you are more than we lcome to get the f_ck out.

too bad the cobra needs a supercharger to keep up, put one on the Z and see what happens, and dont pull the "the mustang has a smaller engine&qu ot; card, chevy just knows how to build a good motor
