Why oh why would you want to sound like that. When gearheads hear that sound they think "ricer", when regular folks hear it they think your car is broken somehow. What's for sure is that no one thinks it sounds "sweet".

I bet that Mustang has like 15Gs in suspension mods and race slicks only to do what an Evo (or S2000, 350Z, STI) does out of the box. From the look o f the video the ride is so compromised a Civic with cut springs riding the bumpstops would drive smoother. Lapping a Mustang is just as pointless as dragging a FWD compact.

The S2000 is a real sports car with a real engine that can do real racing s traight out of the factory. Huge power outputs are irrelevant when a car i s well balanced. All you ignorant fools wouldn't even know what to do with that much car.

The Integra is more of a real car than any one dimensional american muscle car will ever be. Is it the fastest thing out there? No. Does it offer a b alanced, responsive ride with no sacrifice to driveability, practicality, reliability and fuel economy? It sure does.

They are simply putting in the engine that came with the car just about eve rywhere else on earth. Imagine if you were in Japan and Ford only sold V6 Mustangs there, would waste your time with the V6 or for 2000$ would you p ut the V8 in there? It sucks that Honda kept it's best engines out of Nort h America in the 80s and 90s but that's just how it is. It's not funny, it 's called working around a simple problem.

You gotta respect this Civic. It's a shame most people can't get past the r icer hater mentality and see the real potential of this car. Ain't nothing wrong with a stock engined (read : reliable) 170hp, 2100lbs car that can lap all week-end and then get you to and back from work every other day.

The sound coming out of the fart can was as bad as anything else but anyone that can't differentiate (and appreciate) the sound coming out of the int ake of a high lift / high rev inline 4 under WOT from a lawnmower should j ust give up on cars and stick with bicycles.

If you wanted to let us hear the sound of VTEC, you should of shot the vid from the other side so we could hear the intake. On the exhaust VTEC engin es sound as bad as any other inline 4, on the intake they are one of the b est sounding engines out there. It's a shame you never get to hear it thou gh because everyone puts on a fart pipe which drowns it out.

Sounds pretty good but it seems exhaust dominant, something a 4 cylinder sh ould never be IMO. Don't get me wrong, it still sounds relatively nice, it just seems like it could benefit from an aftermarket intake or something.
