my thoughts exactly. An evo will full boltons and tune is 350whp. More than enough to kill a 265hp lead sled ith a few upgrades.

that EVO is probably in the 10's. SUrpised it didnt fukc that cobra little faster and harder. A37r with those psi and race fuel is probably a 600whp car and light as hell.

Normalguy...this is a Vette on c6Zo6 on this site on a dyno, bone stock, putting down 473 to the wheels. I think Chevy under rated those HP numbers on that car a little.

"average"? 01 had 385, 02-04 had 405, the new C6 z06 has 505. If youre doing averages then your math is bad.

if you lok at his trap speed hes good for mid 11's. But 740hp on street tires would turn that car sideways, especially with someone who cant drive

I got one just like that but green, very easy to wheelie. Put your knees on the seat and let your feet hang over on the rear rack for better balance. I can walk mine for miles if there was enough room.

Cobra needs to race from evo from higher roll....30r takes a second to wind out as a supercharger is more instant. Def. in the Cobras power band.

depends. Aerodynamics on the vette give it the top end advantage off the rip, few mods make it almost impossible for a cobra to keep up with. Not taking away from the cobra I thin they are unreal bang for the buck. But its no vette.

the way ill descibe these are nearlt like a supra race......KB cobra alwyas takes immedtiate hit but then the Z06 always pulls back for then win. Both excel where they are supposed to, great races/

they said the car was going 155, a Z06 will smoke that, surprised the Z06 didnt eat all of those snakes a lot easier. nice video

evo might have got caught. it wouldve won the 1/4 mile and maybe got ran down 130's or so. depends what kind of turbo also, it may have never got caught. but didnt sound too aggressive.

ok, some of what you say is valid some is dumb. Vettes tend to plain off in cvalue after a couple of years. And when comparing car to cat The vette always wins stock for stock on a supra even the turbos. BUt there is no denying the possibilities of a supra, however underestimating a fully modified vette is equally as dumb.

if done right on the right turbo. 26psi is high on a turbo vette, remember psi is the by-product of the CFM's the turbo produces.

so if a civic with a turbo making 350hp races a c6 z06 the vette should have a turbo? turbo makes up displacement, run what you brung take the bs home.
