maximum motorsports is what suspension I would go with. I agree you can add suspension to those cars and make them great auto crossers or anything else in your desire. It's still the number 1 car when it comes to drag racing and with the right suspension can punish a lot of other very high priced cars. But the srt-4 is not a piece like everyone thinks it is. I believe DCR has proven this time and time again and have the records to prove it. 230+mph on the salt flats in stock suspension body form? That in itself must at least be given some respect.

The car is a small bubble........whats more stable at high speeds than a bubble? Not much i can think of.

No harm intended steve....I was at one time a ford freak myself. I still love mustangs but I have found a new found interest.........for now.

They have a high insurance rate because of youngins racing that don't know the limits of fwd cars and curves.

Look up fastest 4 cylinder in the world on goggle that will explain it.

Come on don't you guys have anything better to do? And Steve did you not answer your own question? 5.0 liter stang and a 3.27 rear end. Not that any of those came with 3.27 that I recall most came with a 2.73.......You know what the difference is on this one? My fox bodies felt like they would fall apart at 140mph. My srt-4 feels more stable at that speed.......It's one of those believe it or not facts. It doesn't matter if you do.

Port everything and get bigger valves :-) 110 with water/meth. I remember back in the day the first srt in the 10's was a stage 3 with reworked heads and valves with a big shot of nitrous. If I remember correctly he had 660lbft of torque and ran a 10.96 this was almost 3 years ago though. Stage 3's are hardly weak to start with and all the mods titanium has his car is nasty. Your videos dude almost full fill my "want" to go all out on my car since you seem to have a video up every other week with another 30+hp added to your car.

The big turbo srt's with AEM EMS can have the two step, launch control, traction control....whatever you want to call it. It does help them and technically I guess even a stock one with EMS would help it. Now I am starting to see where the other 13 grand goes.

well that explains a lot. srt-4's have a 20% bigger engine than evo's. Building boost off the line would be pretty much worthless. It already makes enough torque to roast tires stock.

Yeah actually I do know what two step is thanks for being informative. Next time if you want to disprove me or whatever the case that would be the time to provide the information that disproves me. MrevoXI I believe was his name informed me on the other post thanks though.

Is that the rev limiter again that the evo is bouncing off of LOL...

hey 117 check out the road and track top 20 cars for 2008 there are going to be some nasty rivalries coming up.

Or whatever motor they would bore and stroke to improve it.

very true. Plus every year they usually come out with something just a little better or improved upon. Is there a nissan 400Z in the future?

I don't know how you do it. When I found a car I loved and pretty much loved to see run or even sit in. I had to have it. Oh well you'll make your decision soon. I like the newer (don't know model numbers) 350 I test drove one for fun not to long ago. It's def not slow.

Did you finally buy you one? I know you been looking at them for a while.
