People on this site make way too many assumptions. The short description at the beginning of the vid doesn't list much. People talk about the weight of the car when they don't have any idea of what kind of weight reduction has been performed on the thing. Bolt-ons include heads, fuel systems, exhaust, ignition, etc. The proper heads massaged by the right shop and paired with the right cam can make huge amounts of power. Never mind any of the other power adders that are available without opening the engine. Remove anything that isn't needed, like sound deadening material, ac, stereo, back seat, power steering pump, etc. and dump a mass quantity of nitrous in there and you can most likely handle a car that's probably making 650 hp AT THE CRANK.

Nice cars, but that little Fox Body was NASTY. I love the way it revs.

Well done. Not even the g.a.y. song could ruin it.

0 to 60 in 4.6 seconds. That's quick by today's standards and the car just LOOKS mean.

That's a very nice T/A. My first car was the turbo version of the 1980 T/A. It was a pos but I had a lot of fun in it. Practicaly the only time I ever let the gas pedal off the floor was to stomp the brakes. lol

Yup... That's definately a nice car. A bit more bark than bite, though. After the flamethrowing burnout I was expecting low 8's. Speaking of which. AWSOME burnout!

That F-body is Nasty. Is it from BERGER Chevrolet? Maybe a GMMP product?

The SS was the only stock vehicle in the video. Obviously a better platform to build from.

Interesting power numbers. I had a stock 71 Buick Skylark with a 2bbl 350. According to GM that car made similar numbers (at the crank of course). At the time I was blown away not only by the torque figure, but also by the offset from the horsepower figure. Based on estimated drivetrain power loss I'm thinking the horsepower figure seems a little low for being even mildly built. I imagine the car looks like it's launched from a sling-shot but fizzles out at the top end. Is the motor intentionally tuned this way (perhaps for 1/8 mile runs) ? Sweet car no matter what, though. I love the styling on the Challengers. In fact Mopar made some of the best looking muscle cars ever. Thanks for a great vid. Keep us up with the project.

Anyone remember beaker from The Muppet Show? I swear he was talking through that entire burnout.lol. Sick stang. How about some vids of you actually raping some Supra's. We could all use more of those.

9 seconds and you think you can beat everything? Sorry, kid. There are street legal cars all over this site that would make you look like a bitch.
