OHC have been around for nearly as long as the pushrod its not new. Infact back in the late 60's Ford was designing at 429 OHC motor for Nascar. Mopar found out about this and new Nascar would never allow it but decided to design one for there 426 Hemi just to show up Ford. When they were Dyno'd the 429 made 700hp (around), the 426 Hemi OHC made 850 hp (around). And of course Nascar didnt allow these engines to be put into Nascar but a few 426 Hemi OHC's did get out to the public (about 20), none are known to still exsist. The 429 OHC didnt fared worse, they couldnt figure away to keep the thing together so they used them as test engines and blew all of them up. I believe 2 may have made it alive but again not known of current location.

If they really wanna bring back some muscle car era stuff, then have a special package for a 428 or 429 crate motor or something along those lines. Mopar/GM both have Bigblocks for theres and small blocks all that can be dropped into the newer cars. Does take some yelling at the Factory to order it.
