h**l yeah. the ls6 and ls2 motors are badass. punch out the ls2's cubic i nches to 402, add a decent cam and a 150 shot and your in the tens with lo ts of room to grow. totaly street legal, and about $10K in mods.
t hose who dont believe me, go to this page and see what V8's can do with al ittle spray.

some of you guys are just plain retarded. you let your hate for one brand cloud your better judgement. the fact of the matter is, the chevy pulled the ford.
not everyone lists their full mods, nor is it needed. A "CAM ONLY" car means that it does not have a head/cam set-up, which is very popular when modding those engines. ans yes, many "cam only" cars with full bolt ons(headers, ORY, intake, ported TB) cam make around 430rwhp.
you cant blame him for picking the better car to race with. the name of the game is run what ya brung. if you show up with a basicly stock car, expect to get your a*s handed to you. dont be upset you lost, turn that anger into energy and keep modding your car. your probably just upset you lost cause you thought it would have been easy pickings and he caught you by surprise.

whats the fastest supra, like 8 seconds or something? supras arent really meant for drag strips. they shine on the highway. ls1 make great low end torque which is why there are guys with only 450HP in f-bodys in the 10's. supras need 600HP at least to get there. both ca rs are badass in thier own relm.
dollar for dollar, the T/A is the better car.

what a ricer. he could be re-routing the air back into the intake instead of the atmosphere, it helps spool the turbo faster after shifts.
only kids want to sound cool, while others are more worried about wining races.

he has three things against him. he has an auto, he has an IRS rear, and he is 400lbs heavier. with sticky tires, i would expect that to happen 3 out of 5 times. good runs. i have a gto, makes me want to buy more go fast goodies.

yeah, because any car that sounds like that has to be a 9 second car. my s tock nissan with the muffler rusted off sounds like that when i take one s park plug out. dont count your chicken till they hatch... that mustang MA Y have gotton spanked, but at least he DROVE his car home that night.
