WRONG, you're a "nub," despite the horrible quality of the video and horrible driving of the Exige pilot, it is an Exige. The whole rear deck has the Exige's liftback, there is the characteristic hood scoop and CF wing, front splitter, expanded air scoops on the sides. And the Mazdaspeed MX-5 with a good driver is more than a match for a Rustang, so good job on that one.

Since when does value matter in the context of racing? "oh ho ho, your Mercedes smoked me by 2 bus lengths, BUT, my car is one fouth of the price, so I win." performance is measured by minutes and seconds, not dollar signs. 5th Gear didnt make a comparo clip of a Z06 and an Exige because the Corvette is what they call "rubbish" in Britain. It is like comparing the jet-powered VW Bug which has a 0-60 of God-knows-how-many seconds to a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. Apples and oranges. Harley and Ducati.

Actually, in Britain, an imported Ford Mustang GT is about £22000 which is rougly equivalent to $41000. Not exactly close to half the price, but not exactly close to the price of the Exige either. Ideally the Mustang actually would cost half of the Exige, but taxes and that sort add on to the price.
Nonetheless, Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear fame says he would rather have a Golf GTI rather than a Mustang. In the review of the Exige he said if you brought a Lamborghini or a Ferrari to the party, you would be "gasping and bewildered in the [Exige's] wake". He also attested that he never drove a car that went through the corners as well as the Exige.

yes, it was an exige. the exige driver took poor approaches in the turns. the mustang was much closer to the apex in its turns compared to the exige, just means the exige has a bad driver. 95% of mustang drivers dont know what an exige is, but this video just made it cannon fodder for them.

it could have been anything.... but why a mustang? why? damn it, lose to a skittle or something, anything but a ford. it wouldnt be a shame if the supra lost to a ws6.... but a rustang? and that terminator must have had at least 650+ torque with the 2.2 kb. THATS what won it, along with the mustang driver, not the nitrous. and whoever said "nos" should be shot.
