1st) Of course the suspension isnt made for high-speed... thats not where it really shines when its lightly modded... and autocrosses are not high-speed races... you should be in First gear the whole time, or barely into second...
2nd) I never said my car would spin... i said YOUR car would spin out on the autocross, unless you are only on the gas when you are going straight... besides why would isay i would spin, thats a bad thing... and actually it does have power to do so. how else do you think i can drift it?
3rd) Who cares WHEN the suspension was designed? it doesn't matter how old it is... if the Honda S2000 was created in 1986, you wouldnt be saying that its sh!tty suspension... the AE86 is basically a slower S2000... they made it with 87hp because it originally a "sport" version of the economy car "Corolla". And the SR-5 model designed to have that little power for gas-reasons...
4th) i just made up the weight distribution because the camaros have huge ol' engines in the front... the AE86 has near perfect because of the overall light-weight car and the Dinky 1.6L... not a huge 6.0L...
5th) how the heII would you know what your weight distribution is...
6th) Just stop trying to pretend that your car could beat the AE86... Like SavageDrift said already, what the car that owned a SKYLINE on the touge with way less money that you spent on your LS1? oh snaps, I think that would beee........... OH thats right, the AE86!!!

who cares if you have power... unless you have perfect suspension like the AE86 does you will be sliding around every time you tap the gas... and either you have NEVER been to an autocross or you have been to ones designed to fit powerfull cars... my dad used to autocross his daily-driven old-school Integra and he whooped corvettes AND ur stupid camaros all day! the integra was BONE STOCK. apparently you dont know much, and are trying to pretend like u do. my AE would totally destroy a CRX... they are FWD, and have about the same hp, but they dont have a 4-link suspension and perfect weight balance. and neither does your camaro. if anything i bet the camaro has a 75/25 weight distribution... you would not even stand a chance against my AE86...

i hope you dont mean that the AE86 is worth $300, because that would be very big mistake on your part my friend... the GT-S models sell for over $7k... My SR-5 was worth over $3k when we first bought it for $1300. this thing has almost mint condition interior and only 82k ORIGINAL miles... the body is ruined but the mechanicals are almost perfect. I could still sell this beast for over $500 just because the interior...
and so what if the AE86 is slow? thats not what it is famous for. hah, i'll own you at an autocross anyday... and this SR-5 is bone stock... i've grip ran 15mph turns at 40mph... and i plan on getting sum new rims and tires for the front, plus a anti-sway bar, this thing would demolish your time on an autocross...
