and idk wtf you guys are talking about, he didn't mis-shift... it was spining the wheels, and then it stopd and hit VTEC and then he shifted, it made it sound weird, but i was there when there was no music or anything, and he didn't mis-shift...

To PhuckU: idk i'm just sayin someone said it had 170whp stock, idk if it really does or what conditions it was in. I never knew that there was a big performance difference between the 04 style and the 05 style type-s' until a couple days ago. The 05 style has around 10 more hp stock! I think they altered the cams so that VTEC stays on longer too...
To S13King: wtf are you talking about lol... No brakes? if the tC hadn't hit the brakes to let the type-s in, he would have hit that oncoming car you weirdo! haha, after the type-s pulled in the tC wasn't even on the gas anymore... use your brain and common sense and then you wouldn't have to look like a total idiot in front of everyone...

But uhh PhuckU- how would this type-s be making 200whp? Someone else told me that the type-s has 170whp stock... i'm not entirely sure, but i don't think I/H/E will add 30whp. I'm not even sure if he has just an axle-back too. all i know is he had a ricer can. And i'm not even sure he had an intake for that matter! I just assumed he did cuz he looked like he had money, and you can hear an intake sorta... i don't think 200, thats quite high. if it had 200whp then it would have maybe around 155tq, and that would mean that it could have dusted the tC off the line too... i'd say he may have 187-ish whp and 143 tq. I think the main reason we beat him is because he has Headers and Exhaust. The high-flow headers add power, but it reduces backpressure, which is good for making power, but not for tq gains. The muffler on the tC isn't just a muffler. It's a muffler that was hand-built to keep that backpressure so it gains tq but it's also way free-flower than a stock exhaust so it adds hp too...

wtf are u talking about greddytc05... you can't hear V-TEC (not V-TECH) !? are u retarded or deaf? the base RSX probably has V-TEC also...(i'm not saying it does cuz idk, jus sayin probably) you people need to stop making excuses for why your favorite cars are getting spanked by the underdogs... "thats not a type-s" "type-s can't drive" just admit that the RSX-S has no bottom end punch compared to a tC! yes it duz have faster times, but with a good driver in the tC, it's possible to take out a type-s! (obviously in this video)...
and like VerticleSmile said, stop looking up statistics and power numbers, look at where the car gets it power at, and include the variable of the good driver...

i just looked it up and the base RSX has 140hp and 120(ish)tq... and i looked up DragTimes.com, a RSX with Type-S headers and exhaust got a 15.9 1/4 mile... you think that a base RSX could even come close to this tC? the base RSX is sad dude...

it doesn't matter what a car's top speed is... it's how fast you can get there... And a high redline doesn't mean that the car is faster... A LS2 GTO redlines relativly low compared to a Honda, but who would win the race?
yeah a base RSX could challenge this tC, but i'm sorry, it would lose it's challenge horribly! The type-s is a challenge for this tC, not a base RSX...
and WTF r u talking about, a STOCK tC gets a 15 second 1/4! frigen idiot... and stfu about the camry engine, who cares if it came from a camry, thats the only thing you haters say, "It's slow, it's got a Camry motor!" Who cares! The 240sx (1 of the best drift cars) uses a truck engine, and there are Honda fans swaping CRV motors into civics!
The whole reason that the tC won this race is because of the torquey camry engine. the Type-S puts out a HORRIBLE 140 tq @ the crank... the tC puts down an impressive 162 tq @ the crank... yes the type-s throws down 197hp, but it doesn't matter when it has to wait until 7k rpms to get it! I've been trying to tell all you haters that the tC is capable of taking out a Type-S, and this video finally shows it. This is the 2nd type-S that this tC has beat, the 1st one was even easier, that type-s didnt even catch back up... because it was stock...

he's not that bad, but i could out drift him in my AE86 on that same track... cant beleive he spun out twice in a row... only things like my AE86 need to drift on a wet track because it's got like 87hp... that was a 240sx right? that looked like the dash, and those things should be drifting no problem on that track... that guy kept losing angle...
