Not bad for only running 5psi. But you need to get a different pulley so yo ur pushing 8psi so you can be in the consistent low 13's. But at the end o f the day you spent 5k for just a 1.2 second better 1/4mile. I plan on spe nding just 2k on my Hemi Ram and I'll be in the 13's maybe the 12's with just a 75shot of nitrous.

You're right, not bad for 5psi of boost. In my opinion, he spent 5k on a blower because its a nice thing to have, truck runs better, and it gives you something to talk about when you're having a cold one with your buddies standing in front of your truck just asfter you finished washing it and showing off that beautiful blower! If he wanted most HP for the $$$., he could have spent less than the $2K you would on your hemi and would still go faster than you, and still have money left over! (overestimating prices) $500 for computer tune. $500 for 150 hp NOS setup. $500 for headers = CONSISTENT 12 second AWD Silvy SS!. Oh, and because it has AWD, he doesnt have to spend the remaining $500 on slicks so he could run the stock tires and still hook good enough out of the hole leaving him with $500 to blow off with a hot girl!

i dont understand why all the ricer boys get all but hurt when a skyline loses. The reality is that now that the GTR is coming to the US as an infiniti, Z06s and Cobras are gonna be walking all over them now that they're gonna be an everyday thing, its gonna be nothing special. Skylines are fast (espacially built ones just like any other car). But not that fast. In 2000 I raced a 1999 R34 GTR for $500. (my friends and i had heard all kinds of stories about these cars so we didnt want to get in over our heads so we kept the price reasonable) with my friend's at the time low 12 second grand national (i was just driving, the car wasnt mine) and beat it by 5 car lengths. After the race i asked him what work he had done to it and he said it was completely stock. I raced him here in Los Angeles on the street. He had Oregon plates and said he couldnt register the car in california and that he had paid over $80K to bring the car over. He just got me out of the hole. I was stalling up at 2 pounds of boost at the line and leaving hard total 14 pounds of boost (mild for a grand national) and he would jump out a car and a half and i was already around him before the 1/8th mile.

99 cobraboy:GTA's didnt come with LT1s in any year. they had L98s (tuned port) LT1s first showed up in Fbodies in 1993 and had 275hp. 285HP in 94-97 with the SS and WS6 getting the 310hp versions. The corvette had 335 with its LT1 version (the LT4) for their time they were a beast. even for a naturally aspired 99 cobra, that was a 50/50 race for you

Im not surprised. Grand Nationals are beatable. Remember, the camaro is rediculously light for the amount of metal it is. The GN is heavy. When I had my first 69 camaro, it had a 355. 11:1 compression. Camel hump heads with port and polish. Regular Edelbrock Performer Intake. Stock Springs. with a .485 lift cam. Stock manifolds (No Headers.) Holley 650 DP, Holley Blue FP and 2.5 Flowmaster 50 series exhaust. TH350 with shift kit. Spooled rear end with 3.73 gears. anyone will tell you this setup is a granny car engine. It didnt even lope. It idled nice and smooth like a Cadillac. Boought the car like that in 1999 for $1850 . Car ran 13.30s all day the next week when i took it to track and it didnt even look or sound like it.
