Il try to explain the pace notes.
The corners are graded from, 'Hairpin' 1-6 'flat' and 'slight'. You can almost relate 1-6 to gears and then they add + ore - to fine tune it. And then they add how long the corners are 'short' 'half long' 'long' and 'extra long'. 'Opens' and 'tightens' is what the the corner does at the end of it. The distance to the next corner is in meters ore if it's shorter then maybe 20 meters they use 'into'.
'Line into' means you should use the whole road like a racing line. 'Early' means you can see the apex of the corner before you enter it. 'Gap' means there is an opening in the forest wich might make it hard to see exsatly were the road goes before a turn.

They don't use co-drivers in hillclimbs because it's so short that they remember the road.

Rallying in America is starting to get very good it's even shown on ESPN, with guys driving like Travis Pastrana, Keny Bartram, drifting champion and stunt driver Tanner Foust (in movies like Dukes of Hazzard, Tokyo Drift and Jason Bourn) DC shoes owner Ken Block. And it looks like ther might be some more next year like Bucky Lasek, Dave Mirra cought the bug after gething to drive Ken Blocks car a few days ago.
