And i had no idea, but a GST gets a very-weak 6.8(ish) 0-60... I mean we have timed the tC before, and it gets around a 6.4/6.5.........

that site shows Road&Track's stock tC test time of 6.9s 0-60 and 15.1 1/4... And remember that's STOCK times... They probably had a really pro driver for that run, never seen such a low 0-60 time with a stock tC....

And look at that site, a stock type-s getting times very close to a tC.... And yes, they didn't test the new(er) type-s, ok. I know they are faster than the 05s, you don't have to tell me, thanks....

By seen, you mean that you google searched it right? And of course it's going to dyno low with all original parts, it's a Ford.... something probably broke during the dyno... i mean my friend's original Inline6 probably had 145hp dude... a 302 V8 is going to have quite a bit of power... plus it's got I/E, and plugs/wires, distributor cap, etc. and the Mustang is pretty fast, just not off the line, it's got too tall of gears... On the top end though, it's got quite some go...
To 05ep3: well, thats because you say it's a new tc, so they have no parts for a new tc yet, thats why you beat him. stock tc's are very slow indeed, but when you free up the engine with even just a I/E, they can be very quick. And i wouldn't say "i can pull on tc's" because you said you can beat that one guy's most likely all-stock tc... I'm not trying to sound like a jerk or anything, but you wouldn't stand a chance against my friend's tC in this video... the EP3 is without a doubt The Worst Civic SI Ever Made... Stock they get a 7.5 second 0-60, a stock tC is in that range... With your I/E you might be getting a 7.2 if your good... But anyways, you can hear the type-s' engine screaming dude... Well, i could at least, considering that the engine was behind us next to the window... Next time you race that tC, why don't you film it, cuz you say he trys to race you everyday, so unless you are going to fake you don't have a digital camera, please get someone to record it and post it, thanks, wanna see how it does.

well, i'm just guna tell you that my brothers '99 Altima beat a 02 gt a couple days ago. he said that he was barely pulling the gt. And where did you get the numbers for that 302 engine? your car? the 302 does not have 145 hp...... it has at least 200 with a dirty filter and 5-year old gas... and i'm not sure what you mean by fbody. i guess your talking about the Firebird?

Actually a 13 second street car is pretty dang fast... Not compared to real drag cars, but for a Street-Legal car, a 13 second 1/4 is pretty quick considering the average 1/4 mile for the average daily car is around 17 seconds... My friend with the tC posted a video earlier showing him owning our friend's '66 Mustang with a swaped 302 V8... I'm pretty sure those aren't REALLY strong, but it is strong. And this tC has dusted numerous V8 trucks and V6 Mustangs, Firebirds, etc. It can even pull on my Mom's '05 Honda Odyssey minivan that has a 3.5liter v6 I-VTEC with 260hp and 270tq... Yes, that sounds silly but stock it gets a mid 15 second 1/4... a low-mid 7 second 0-60... this is a minivan that has embarrasses everyone it races... The Altima's 3rd gear at around 70-75mph will pull on almost any car out there... Hah on the freeway my bro was keeping up with an idiot in a 350z! dude got scared or something that he was getn tailed and slowed down haha... Alti has top end like no other though... i think it's the gearing, but idk it's really confusing but ey, who cares if it can pull from 80-130 faster than a Corolla XRS!? (i timed it comparison to some random XRS 80-130 video) lol...

the Altima is a 1999... and its making around 155hp and 160 tq STOCK. it has the KA24DE (like the 240sx) its probably making around 160hp 165 tq now? (estimated) Altima has K&N and an axle-back. yeah the gears are totally wack on that car lol. but for some reason at like 70mph it will own...

oh ok. i see now. like my brother's Altima has what i call "long gears" (1st-45 2nd-65 3rd-100 4th-??? 5th-??? (Speedo maxes at 120)) but it's actual top speed is probably only like 130... so i guess you could say it doesn't really have that tall of gears because it has a relatively low top speed? i'm still slgihtly confused but i get the general concept of what your'e saying...

For those gear speeds, they are AROUND there, give or take 5-10mph. Like i said i'm just guessing at those. (just clarifying) :)

To PhuckU: the tC does have short gears though... i think its like 1st-25 2nd-40 3rd-60 4th-85 5th-105, idk i'm just guessing cuz thats where my friend shifts, i think the first gear may be up to around 30 because it spins through first and then he shifts at redline and then the speedo jumps up when it stops spining... and i'm loving how you are owning a certain superblack350z... ever since his first post on this video i knew he was guna b an a-s...

To: SuperBLACK350z: Scion owners don't "think" they have torquey motors, they DO. not compared to a 350z of course, but for what they are and whats in their class, they have massive torque. I hate you people with high-powered cars that try to make fun of sport-compacts like Civics, and Scions because you have so much power. Don't diss cars that aren't even in your class!
To 2K4EX: the Mod list includes a K&N drop-in Filter and a Custom Hand-built Axle-back designed for increased Bottom-End torque. And like a pic in the video shows, a ram-air intake tube... And soon upgrades are Spark Plug wires, Crank Pulley, Tires that actually have tread, and Royal Purple synthetic oil(being changed as i type actually)...
To PhuckU: of course tq isn't THE deciding factor in race, but with a lot of torque a car can get away enough on a high-hp car that it may not have enough time to catch back up. Like the tC for example could own a type-s on an 1/8 mile, maybe a 1/4 if the tC gets lucky but if the race went any longer, yes the high-hp car will eventually catch back up and possibly win. And Gearin does matter a lot. My brother's '99 Nissan Altima has ridiculously long gears (1st-45 2nd-65 3rd-100 4th-??? 5th-???) and it gets spanked by this tC,from a dig, but on a freeway roll, the altima blows by the tC easy... the tC has really short gears... you shift into 5th at like 100mph... i think that because the tC has so short of gears with a torquey motor it's able to launch from a dig very good... it's because the tC gets it's power/tq earlier than the rsx that it can pull on it like this. so what if the rsx keeps most of it's torque after the peak, the tC gets all of it early. the rsx has to wait until 7k rpms... Like the '00 Civic SI, has 160hp at 7.6k and 11tq @ 7k... Most of these high-revving honda motors have power only at the top end, which allows a car (tC) with all of it's power early to get a jjump on it from the dig, and possibly win! but yeah a high-powered car will definately spank a high-tq car in the long run, but a short run a tq car will destroy...

sweet video +1. Definately my favorite car is the AE86 running a 9. i got myself an AE86, but the nines it'll be running is a 19 second 1/4... mine gets a 10 second 0-60 lmao! personally it's kinda a waste of an AE86 to make it a drag car, but as long as it's an AE86 it's still sickness....

an rsx gets 200-210hp, but it gets only probably 115tq at the wheels. The tC gets probably 145tq at the wheels... Thats the reason the tC can pull on low TQ cars...
