799013 - im not much of a japanese car fanatic. But skylines along with supras i think are the only japanese cars that can run with the big boys. Thats a nice skyline in this video. If i was into skylines, and had that kinda money to fork out for one here in the states, id get one. I think it is coming to the states, isnt it? The infiniti GT-R coming out later this year. (I think)

mustang guys have always had excuses! As long as ive been into racing....the excuses never changed. Even when the fox bodies were in, the excuses never changed! I used to walk all over well built 347 fox bodies with a stock turbo GN. All i had on it was 4.10 gears, full intake and exhaust including downpipe, and a kenny duttweiler computer chip and aftermarket intercooler! No work on the engine! And stock Turbo and they always had excuses about their tranny, that they needed the move, that they needed me to set them out because i had a turbo. My comback was always "If you're asking for space from a V6 on boost, then you need to get yourself a car you can really trust" Dont make excuses for you cars! I dont have anything against fords, i think the 03-up SC Cobras are very quick cars (i have respect for them) its just the drivers that are idiots!

im a chevy guy. I just love seeing how whenever a supra goes down, all the ricer fanatics make excuses for it. Just like they will be when Z06s and ZR1s walk all over skylines when the R35 comes out here in the states

you can get the tire monitors to work. you have to ask the wheel shop that put your wheels on to intall the original ones on your new wheels (thats if they didnt already keep them and jip you)

lightnings are quick. But a low 12 second one is one with a lot of work. My neighbor bought one brand new (hes a ford guy and im a chevy guy) and with 400 miles we went to the track and put on some 10.5 x 28s and it ran a 13.7. The one on this video runs hella good!

the lightning has work and help from honking twice, flooring, then honking again! and it wont beat an SRT10 stock. My next door neighbor bought his lightning brand new in 03 and laid down low 14s all day on ET streets no matter how hard he tried to get it to run a 13. When he geared and pullied it....he hit 13.8s. with tuning and intake and exhaust he got it to run consistently in the low 13s with a best time of 12.97 the day he got beat at the track by a bone stock (no plates and the window sticker still on) SRT10 on factory 22s. PS...its cool that the girl was driving but with a good driver, that LS2 vette would beat them both (thats understandable though)

I dont understand why some people in here get all aggressive about this video. The truth of the matter is that i would love to be able to afford either car. The facts are that there are videos all over the internet in which a factory C6 Z06 has outran a Ford GT, the Gallardo (like in this video) and even a few videos taking down ferrari 355s and F430 F1s. Lets give credit where credit is due. If Ferrari can put a Formula 1 derived engine in a car and charge a zillion dollars for one, then chevy can put a Lemans C6R derived small block and charge $80K to outperform the ferrari......and still get almost 30 miles to the gallon.

That camaro is bone stock with like 40 Series Flowmasters. Awesome looking car! As for the mustang....car looks like it moves well. As far as breaking something in the Trans; it goes with the territory. The car sounds like it has moderate engine work and probably on a stock tranny. Hey, it happerns sometimes!

LOL.....this guy thinks he beat an SS Silvy. The Silverado was off the throttle @ 0:06 and was already coasting when the Colorado at WOT finally went around. LOL!!!
