Yes thats right....SMALLER engines have more potentail than bigger engines. Great logic there. I agree that small displacement engines and especially rotary engines can make big horsepower with heavy mods, but when you modify an American V8 to the same extent, do you really need to think which engine will make more horsepower?? I respect both imports and domestics. What I don't respect is ignorance. Example: AMERICANCARSARESLOW - I believe your username is an oxymoron. America produces the Ford GT, Corvette Z06, Corvette ZR1, Dodge Viper, Saleen S7, and now finally the 1187 horsepower Ultima Aero, world's fastet production car. What does Japan produce that even comes close to any of those??? American cars are slow? Get a f*cking clue...

Not do trash talk imports, but many import lovers have their head so far up there a$$, they believe smaller engines make more power than larger engines.... What does a supra need to make 1000+ RWHP? Atleast 30 psi. What does a turbo viper need.... like 12 psi? lol

So then why haven't other cars with the same quality stopped production? Look, I'm not doubting the Supra is a high quality car. It obviously is otherwise there would not be so many of them still running strong. I'm just saying, have some respect for American cars. They don't need a huge turbo to produce big horsepower, and when they do run with a turbo set up, the numbers are enormous. America produces many amazing automobiles, including the worlds fastest production car today. So enough with the Supra orgy is all I'm saying.

Oh really? Then why did Toyota shut down the production of the Supra then? Ford has produced some pretty insane street cars since the 60s. Has Toyota done the same?? Or how about a Lemans winning super car? What has Toyota ever offered that can even come close to that? Show some respect, thats all Im saying.

Oh come on now, "Ford couldn't get more than 230 hp out of it's top car." Don't forget your Supra is NOTHING without a turbo. Built small block Fords are easily capable of 500 horsepower with natural aspiration, never mind with a turbo set up. How many 2jzs do you see doing that? I find it quite interesting that you'd rather compare two stock cars of the same year, but you are afraid to tackle the same psi vs. same psi argument. Like I said, in the fan-boy book, its perfectly fair when the Supra has 100 more horsepower than its opponent.

"More than fair race" in the Supra fan boy's book means at least a 100 horsepower advantage on your opponent. Oh wait, a 1993 SVT cobra makes a mind boggling 235 bhp vs. your 320 bhp Poopra. 85 horsepower advantage... close enough for a "fair race" right? I'll put my money on the Supra. 478376, you have to remember, stock supras can barely move out of their own way. Stock supra vs. stock anything is really not fair. Same psi supra vs. same psi ls1 or 03 cobra isnt fair either. 35 psi Supra vs. 10 psi mustang is a completely fair race though ;)
