7:56 --- Chevrolet Corvette C6 (tested by Dave Hill)The winner for the base car is obviously the GTR by a whopping 20 seconds. Now I know theres also the z06 version and of course the ZR1. But comparing a base model car to a highly modified car is stupid. What sad is the highly modified zr1 is actually only 9-12 seconds quicker than the nissan base car. Now the GTR Vspec tested a 7:25 on the ring which is a full second quicker than the zr1, depending on how nissan wants their vspec finely tune will be decided shortly but we already know that the vspec is indeed a quicker car by a couple of seconds. But both cars are great. The nurburgring is the new 1/4 mile haha.

comparing the zr1 to the gtr is dumb.... they should be comparing the base c6 to the gtr.... now if you want to compare the zr1 equally , we have to wait for the gtr vspec.... this video is just dumb.

when the gtr first got its record, gm went back to the drawing boards to improve the zr1's record at the ring becuase they knew once the v-spec was released gm could lose its reputation... right now were waiting on the vspec release which is still doing testing.... cant wait for the outcome
