turdomr2: funny how you call it "slow racing technology" when a SRT-4, the "slowest" vehicle in the SRT lineup, will still run a faster 1/4 mile stock than anything toyota currently makes. Anything badged SRT-8 or SRT-10 can run high 12s or better stock. That's not exactly slow for cars and trucks that weigh 3800+ pounds. Now go take your 2200 LB turDo MR2 (Mediocre Ricer 2-Slow) from 1995 and find some sentras and civics to play with, douchebag!

Yeah evos are quick, but you are an a$$. First of all, your car cost $10 grand more and it's still a lancer. 2nd, stock evos will barely beat a stock SRT from a roll, if at all. Yes, off the line they are faster, no doubt, but they should be for $10k more and AWD. Of course, when the evo loses it's "Oh... the evo missed 4th..." When the SRT loses "it's a POS neon"... BTW a REAL Stage 2, not one with just a stage 2 wastegate, will kill a stpck evo from a roll and put up a close race off the line. And yeah, at the end of the day, your car is still a lancer. The SRT-4, on the other hand, is officially titled a SRT-4, you can look it up. ;-)

13.9/14.0 is not impossible for a stock V6 altima coupe.

Good kill. 14.2 seems kinda slow for an M3 though. Of course 13.6 is not all that quick either considering your mods. Maybe the weather or the CA gas slowed you guys down a bit?

Good job posing pics of cars & trucks that have been in accidents. Every manufacturer has its problems. This same type of vid could be made about Ford, GM, and a bunch of foreign manufacturers too.

Well, if your car gets beat by a turd, what does that make YOUR car?

Well, saf26, since they haven't made the "neon" SRT-4 since 2005, you can grab an '03 for as low as $12K and it's already boosted. Spend $5K on a Mopar stage 3 kit (bigger turbo, boost controller, CPU, injectors, wastegate, etc) and an intake and exhaust plus a couple other bolt-ons and you will have a monster car running 11s for $17k that is also a nice car. It may have roll-down rear windows but at least it wont have those crappy VW window regulators that go bad and have to be replaced every 6 mos lol. And yeah, stock internals can handle up to 500 HP.

And SLVRMKV you have no business saying a SRT-4 is not that fast when you drive golf. C'mon now people!! Hmm stock SRT-4 vs stock golf, gti, vr6, r32, whatever..... :-)

Yeah maybe you saw a vid of a stage 3 running mid 12s, but that doesn't mean they can't run low 12s or high 11s. I have seen stage 3s run 11s with only a few bolt-ons.

apprentice: yeah, i was referring to a n/a being slow as hell, since they havent made a turbo in what, 10 years? And, speaking of, they run high 14s, the US version MR2 turbo, so I don't know who YOU are trying to fool. ALSO, I don't care what you want to spend your money on,that's wonderful that you can buy a used 10 year old toyota that you can't fit anything into and make it fast. Oh, yeah, you can do that with just about any car. I was never trying to sell you an SRT-4. BTW when I said $20K for a car that runs 13s stock aint that bad, I meant for a NEW car. What other NEW car can do that for that price? Certainly not anything made by Toyota. And yes, stage 2 with a few bolt-ons ($2500 or less invested) will run 12s. Sorry. :-)

So what if it is a neon? But I will bet bet you money if you call Dodge and ask them they will tell you the car is officially called a "SRT-4" with no "neon" in the title. Manual rear windows? Who cares. If power windows means sacrificing 1 sec off my track times then f*ck power windows. Now I know you drive a 15,000 HP TT Supra and all, like everyone else on streetfire, but a car running consistent 12s for under 25 grand aint bad at all :-)

Apprentice: ROFL stock MR2s are real real real slow. SLVRMKV: 13.8 stock is not bad for a turbo 4 cyl costing 20K brand new. Depends what you are comparing it to. Compared to any other car costing 20K it is the fastest. A stage 2 w/ toys and bolt ons can run 12s. Not bad for only having to put $2500 into the car.

Chalk up another one.

Mediocre Ricer 2-Slow. And if you think "boost" is gonna get you laid, that's sad!

Sure, you sending me a pic and stuff over the internet is real proof, so your boyfriend MUST be a model and you drive a 15,000 HP Supra with like 10 turbochargers lol.

jsh: yeah, you're right I wouldn't f*ck your fat as s wife anyway. Maybe if you didn't drive like the jackas s you are you wouldn't crash your "cool" car which is probably a 4-door civic.
