The SS did great with just 412 rwhp , the GT500 should dyno about 450 to the wheels, give or take a few due to dyno variences, if there is no other mods.

great run by the charger, no doubt, 12's is hard to get in those, but a 13 sec pass for the viper....man, he should turn in his keys....along with his man card.

As for the color selection, this one is Inferno Red, it was an 06 SRT8 color for thay year only and they made , get this, 666 of them in Inferno.Nice. Silver was limited to 555 and the rest were Black for 06.They now use Torrid Red for the SRT8s.

The diablo tune I've got now really woke it up, I can't wait to get it back and maybe dip into 12's. Getting rid of TM may free up as much as another .2-.4 tenths.

thanks for the compliments everyone, and yep, the SRT8 is mine too. I posted up some vids of my vette racing an identical SRT8 Charger previously, but that wasn't this car, although they are the same color.

thats cool, everyone is entitled to their opinions. I just think , for alot of the car manufacturers, 73 was the end of forward thinking on design of muscle /sports cars until just recently (early 90's). the 73 Mach 1 was the last Ford I was taken by until the GT. The Shelby GT (not GT500) is a striking car in the right color combo, but it came after the GT.

you can mod anything, sure, but the GT has presence. Thats something alot of cars don't have no matter how much HP they pump out. The Cobras were badfast, no doubt, but not many can draw a crowd like a GT does. For that matter, not many cars can draw a crowd like a GT can, not even a Z06 and I own a Vette.

sounds good. nice lope and idle. what kind of tuning did it need? I know ther's not alot of options out there for tuning these cars.

My doubt about this vid is the credibility of the "200" shot and the bolt ons. A 200 n20 shot to an already 436 hp LS3 + another 75-80 hp from boltons and you gotta be joking me. Fast usp, whatever it is, but doubts bigtime on the vette mods.
