This is an advert for the 2008 La vie en bleu which is held at the Prescott Hill Climb.
There will be at least 2 Veyrons demonstrating up the hill, a Senna F1 car, lots of amazing vehicles.

Oh no not another one.
Shelsley Walsh is the oldest venue in the world, the length is well established. Take a stopwatch at the start, see the time over the finish, compare. I believe it will be 22.81 seconds.

That's one quick CBR you have then.
The cars are circa 600bhp and weigh 450kilos. A cbr100 weighs approx 225kg and has 150bhp? Also a cbr does not have a flat shift for the grears, F1 sized very soft compound slicks, or enough downforce to hold the car on the ceiling at 70mph.

The film has not been 'jacked' with.
If you look past the finish line you will see a time clock (36.99 secs). Simply work out where the run starts and where the finish line is and get a stopwatch !!
It is my camera, my footage, downloaded into Moviemaker exported as a WMV uploaded to streefire. Not speeded up.
Strange how so few people can handle the speed of a hillclimb car even straight off the camera.

The onboard sound is mono as well as over the volume for the mic. I had to compress the video down to load (WMV - 25mb @ 320x240). It then gets compr essed again and starts to 'worbble'.
Sound will be fixed for next year. Adam's footage is the first in a big car, and his help set a precedent fo r the resulting footage from all of the top runners.
It's still not spe eded up tho'.

It was my first thought, and I did the video on the car. The first thing I did was press the play button again becuase I thought it was in fast fowar ds.

it gets me everytime.
I am sure this video is speeded up, but it was my camera, my video, my computer. When did the alie ns invade?
The Fleetwood footage also looks bogus. I had to keep pressi ng play when I played the original(!) video the first time(s).
Sure m akes the cost of doing it great when you see this for the first time. [Ho noured]

They run 650+ bhp, top out on gearing at about 160mph, accelerate quicker t han an F1 car from a standing start. + Big wings, slicks, minimal fuel wei ght to carry.
