http://www.evoperform.com they have the first GT500 into the 8's 10's with Pully, Tune Intake and exhaust is easy. I have a stock 2005 Mustang GT running 12.4 in the 1/4 with bolt-ons stock motor and Auto tranny. I am shooting for 11's N/A with DR's and new 3500 Stall.

Look at Evolution Performance, they offer bolt-on upgrade packages to the GT500 for a couple of grand and it will be a 10 second car.

It's Quite Smooth at 240 KPH, you could still hear the Radio and no Vibrations or wind noise, Dam Ford Did it right Finally, I can't wait to see 2010 model.

I have had mine up to 142 and it was still pulling, even with 4.10 Gears :-)

the SRT 8 is 15K over the GT, If I put 2000 in mods to my GT
my car will beat the SRT 10/10 times, and I will still be under 30K. the 05-07 GT with Just Gears, CAI, Pulleys, UCA/LCA, DS, CMDP and Headers are running 12.6- 12.8 1/4 mile.
my car with just Gears, CAI and Pulleys, and I am running 13.2 in the 1/4 that puts it at 5/10 times.

A Friend of mine has a V6 Mustang with a Powerhouse Turbo that is getting 380 RWHP from a Stock Motor.
There is also a Supercharger avalable for the V6 called X-Charger and there getting over 300 base and modded close to 400. The 4.0 is a very strong motor I was amazed that there are 4.0 V6 stangs running 15psi turbos on a stock motor running high 11 low 12's in the 1/4

a Modded V6 Mustang with Headers, Exhaust, pulleys, intake, Tune and Gears can run 14.0 easy

the car is not pathetic, it's the drivers who think they are fast drag racers, the chargers are fast street racers since most of this guys wins are Roll Racing from likr 30mph to 100 stuff like that, that why Dodge calls SRT's (Street Racing Technology) Mustangs are better at racing from a Dig and suck at roll racing

I did race this one with my GT, my best times are 8.40 (1/8) and 13.26 (1/4) His Best time 9.02(1/8) I have beat stock SRT8 at the track as well. What you say is true, it's a comfort cruiser, but some people are going around calling the Chargers Mustang Killers...... NOT... Maybe a SN95GT not an S197. Stock for Stock it's a drivers race between the GT and SRT8

The Charger owner was modeling his har after a Drift performance car, it was nicely done and his car looks awesome, don't dis the car people it's sweet in person

The 06 Chargers Best time was 9.01 (1/8) 14.09(1/4)
The 05 Mustang GT Best time was 8.40 (1/8) 13.21(1/4)
I have raced this charger 6 times with all the same results

I beat a 05 GTO last month in the 1/4, I ran 13.21 and he ran 13.39. He was running 13.3 - 13.5 all morning long I am not that impressed with them, they sound Nice though with SLP's

the only real difference between the mods was that I have 4.10 gears. My Car is an Automatic 5 spd and the GTO was a Manual 6 Spd.
We both have a Cold Air Intake
my Underdrive pulleys only add about 8-10 Hp Max
He has Drag Bags that will help reduce wheel Hop
We both had Aftermarket Mufflers
gears only add 2-3 tenth to the 1/4 mile.
If he sprayed his 75 shot I would have been history.
His car would kill me from a roll though, thats a fact.
