the video was redone and the pilot was asked to get off the throttle while on the runway during takoff. In the first run it's clear that the jet is smoking the bugatti. It was two videos!!! The jet blew the doors off the car the first tiem so the video got chopped to make it look better.

The fastest mag (car and driver , road and track and motor trend) puts the 2007 300hp 350Z stick at 14.1-3 sec in 1/4 and the automatic is a low 15 sec car period. The new 306 hp Z is 13.9-14.1 . 6 hp is not going to give you more than a tenth in the 1/4. Good drivers in cold air at sea level and with no spare or jack and drag radials are running 13.5 Also those guys in the mags, ( i'm one of them ) are prpfessional drivers, even the best street shift jocky can not match what we get for the mags and will be 2-4 thenths slower and 35 mph slower than the pros. A 14.1 sec Z in the mags (stock ) driven by a great street driver (stock ) will run 14.4-14.5. Sorry folks but we test cars with street tires not drag radials or lightened up with no jack and spare. The mags will always be about a half a second faster, period. End of story.

The new C63 may have less power but it'll run rings around the E. Same for the new M3 4 door coming after the coupe.

the current C6 Z06 has been clocked from 192 to 198.. I have had a restricted 2001 and newer busa ( governed at 186) and an only year un-restricted 2000 model busa. The un-restriceted model will do 198-202mph. Also have a NinjaZX-12R 2000 model (only year un-restricted), it'll run 199-205 mph.
All the 1000cc and up bikes that can clear 180mph 2001 to today, have a governed top speed of 185-187. The C6 Z06 hits it's top speed in 5 th gear. Sixth is an over-drive for better mpg, however, if given abot 25 more miles the theoretical top speed in the C6 Z06 is about 225, in 6 the gear. Same for the 2005 2006 GTO with the vette notor in it with the 6 spd stick. GTOis governed at 160 in 5th gear. unrestricted, it'll do 178mph 5th, and give that GTO 30 miles in that last gear and it'll top out at 221. Math, gearing, horsepower and aerodynamics. I know these things because it's what I do day in and day out. Johnnytorque is 100% correct.

New mustang gt's are childs play! even the GT500 is a bit of a joke, running even with my stock M6 GTO 06'. same for the G' s and Z's from those prospective japanese/renult maufactures. All childs play. same for the new automatic vettes. Get some real cars kids.

ATCO is known for excessively fast times due to it's location and weather. Not very real world to drive and race near ATCO raceway.

That GTO needs a driver mod. On motor in that GTO I could've put a car length on you Deviant. With the NOS that car would've also shown tail lights to the Mellon car after he got traction above 60 mph.

I let one of those alitima SE-R 3.5s pull me from a dig and get two cars on me then I took off tires spinning, all the way through 2nd gear and 75 mph , and still pulled on the SE-R, passing him at 55 mph along the way, and putting three cars on him by 100. All this with a stock 06' GTO stick . LOL.

Nice un-restricted 1999-2000 model with the 220 mph speedo. from the looks of the tach as it still climbed, I'd say 240mph or so.

Also, the new Gixsr 1000 and Yamahopper 1000 might stay close in the quarter to my 2001 ZX-12, but after that it's all hp baby and the 12 will start to pull away above 150.

you'd need at least 33psi to stay even with the big boys. The new ninja ZX-14 is heavy, more than my ZX-12 that it replaced and my bike is faster above 150 mph than the 14, stock for stock

to bad you did not race any V8 powered current street cars. That red mustang was a lightly modded V6 The V6 mustang and titan run nearly the same 0-60 and 1/4 in stock trim.

Pontiacs own website stated (before the GTO was gone in Oct . 2007) in a comparison test between the 06' mustang GT automatic, 06' GTO automatic, 06' BMW 330 Automatic, and 06' Infinity G35 Automatic,,,, the GTO ran 0-60 in 5.8 sec and Must' GT ran 0-60 in 6.2 . the GTO ran the quarter in 14.4 at 102mph the Must' GT quartered in 14.9 @ 98mph. The manual version of each car when driven byb a professional will knock 1+ full second off the 0-60 and quarter times, GTO manual: 0-60 4.8> 1/4 mi. 13.4 @ 108mph ---- Must' GT manual: 0-60 5.3> 1/4 mi. 14.2 @ 101mph. Those pre 1990 supra turbos were slow, Road and Track 1986-1989 Supra turbo manual tranny (no automatic for the turbo) 0-60 in 6.8 sec , quarter mi. in 15.7 sec at 89-90 mph. Come on guys! where are you getting your far fetched performance figures for these old supras. Dynos can be manipulated, plus straps do not brake with 800hp cars, I own two dyno's and have had no problems with 2400+hp cars. Brake my A*** Also not very intelligent to not upgrade the brakes on a car that might make 600+ rwhp

Boy you R stupid. He does not have a dyno pull on here but I've owned two GTO's and know what there'capable of. And, he states that it's a 364 forged crate motor, better be more like a 402 or bigger to make that kind of rwhp with APS twins. Names and what a person types provew nothing. Show a dyno and a quarter run then we will see. You must be one of those "believe everything you read/hear" people that got Bush re-elected, and never did any research to see how much of a Bs'r he is.
